Faith in Jesus Says Thank You

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P814 (03-03-23)

Faith Says Thank You to God

~ Faith is responding with thanksgiving to the forgiveness that God has already done for us. It is walking in unbelief to keep asking God to forgive you over and over again. It’s calling God a Liar. If you ask over and over again, it is obvious that you don’t believe Jesus forgave ALL your sins at the cross. When we come to Christ Jesus, we are made perfect (complete) in the sight of God. We are set apart (holy). We can not do anything to make us more holy.

~ Bob George
“If I am asking if I if I ask you to forgive me, it’s because I believe that you haven’t forgiven me otherwise, why would I ask you to forgive me? In essence when we’re asking God to do what he has already accomplished. We’re saying, I don’t believe you accomplished that. Now you can argue and spin that all you want. But that is the only conclusion that you can have to something if I asked you, if you just gave me $100 bill, and I came up and asked you how will you give me $100?… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

What is Faith? And How Am I Saved?

~ “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for.” Hebrews 11:1,2

~ Carlos
“Thank you, okay. Sometimes I listen to your program on and off. And my question is about faith. And, first of all, what is faith, and is faith all I need to be saved?”

~ Bob George
“Carlos, it’s not your faith. It’s who your faith is in you and I exercise faith every day we exercise faith, when we sit in the chair that’s going to hold us we exercise faith when we go into a restaurant, that they’re not serving us poison. So we exercise faith every day in something. So it’s, it’s not our faith, it’s who our faith is in. And our faith has to come into the one who claimed to be the way in the truth and the life. And the no one will come to the Father except through me, and that’s the Christ Jesus. And that’s where our faith has to be placed in the one who identified our problem.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Understanding the Word of God in Context is So Important

~ “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” 1 Corinthians 15:3,4

~ So often, people will take things out of context from the word of God and try to say that there are contradictions in the word of God, failing to realize that things are written from different perspectives. Timing and sequences of events are important to consider also.

~ “The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him. Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre. So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Offer Your Bodies As A Living Sacrifice

~ “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.” Romans 12:1

~ Mitzi > “And Thursday, I got this letter from Joe Cushman in Mount Olive West Virginia. And he says, Thank you for the free life newsletter that came today, March 4, it’s the first one I’ve received and the articles are very refreshing. In 1997, God used Classic Christianity by Bob George to bring me to Christ. I had been a member of a very legalistic church for 20 years, and the law brought me to Christ. God used Classic Christianity to show me the rest of the gospel, that my problem was death, and I needed life. And that life could only be received in the person of Jesus Christ. At that moment, I invited Jesus into my heart and I was born again. In Christ, I’m finding everything I spent 59 years looking for, to fill a void that only Christ can fill. Jesus is supplying my spiritual need of being accepted and loved unconditionally.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

You Must be Born Again

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P810 (02-17-23)

You Must Be Born Again of The Holy Spirit of God

~ “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3

~ Betty > “I think you almost answered my question. But I like it more detailed, what is the process of being born again?”

~ Bob George > “Well Betty to be born again. Obviously, it’s a What’s the process of being born physically the first time and we can go through that, but we don’t need to. But everyone has to be born again physically. And then what Jesus said is there’s a second birth, which is a spiritual birth. And that comes about as a result of our walking or coming by faith to the two things that Jesus had to do for us that we could not do for ourselves. We have to understand that we are sinners, all of us have sinned, and all have fallen short of the glory of God. And those sins had to be forgiven. And with Christ forgiven, it means taken away from the sight of God.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Walking in the New Covenant

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P809 (02-16-23)

Walking in The Fullness of God’s Grace

~ “The time is coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. It will not be like the covenant I made with their forefathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they did not remain faithful to my covenant, and I turned away from them, declares the Lord. This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be My people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, `Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.” Hebrews 8:8b-12

~ Caller: “Hey, a little quick background on me. Before I get to my question, I started listening to you back in 1993. And before that, I’ve been in Christ for about about four years.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
