Do Not Be Anxious About Anything for Jesus is Our Thanksgiving

~ Jesus is indeed our thanksgiving. Everything we have to be thankful for is found in Him. So spend this day and all the days of our lives thanking Him for what he has done for us. Share that with others. Trust in Him to lead you in all understanding. Trust in Him to lead you in all Truth. Trust in Him to live His life in and through you. Don’t fret about anything. For He is alive living in each and every true believer today. So give thanks to Jesus our Lord and Savior. Share his Love with others.

~ Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. ^{Colossians 2:6,7}

Jesus is Our Thanksgiving

~ We have much to be thankful for today, but the biggest thing to be thankful for if you are in Christ Jesus is the fact that the Holy Spirit lives in you, gave you eternal life, and will never leave you. We are to focus on him, and his righteousness, and his life living in and through us. We cannot live his life, and he never expected us to. Satan wants you to think that you personally can live the Christian life. Satan will go out of his way to show you how to clean up your flesh. He will induce pride in you based on you thinking that God is pleased with you when you get this sin or that sin “taken care of” yet that is when you are the most vulnerable. Because there are people that go around pretending that they have repented of ALL of their sins when in reality they don’t have a clue what repentance really means. They have trusted in the teaching of man instead of the teaching of God.

~ “Let’s pray together. Father, you’ve told us to give thanks in all sayings. For this truly is the will of God concerning you in Christ Jesus. To thank Him in all things to be anxious for nothing but in all things with prayer and supplication and thanksgiving, let your requests be known under God. And then the peace of God that passes all understanding will quieten your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. So many times we have that tendency to worry, in fact, we feel guilty if we’re not worrying. God says worry is not faith. Worry about your kids. That’s rightfully so we have a role to protect them. ~ “All who sin apart from the law, and I just circled the law will also perish apart from the law. And all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. Indeed, when Gentiles who do not have the law, do by nature, the things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law. Since they show the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing them and even defending them. Give Thanks, Your Sins Have Been Forgiven

As the Thanksgiving season is here, consider how much we have been freely given. If you are in Christ, you are free. You are free from the law. You are no longer under the law of sin and death, the law with it’s demands that you could never keep. Sin was your master and owner. In Christ, you are no longer a prisoner of the law. You were once locked up until faith should be revealed. Has faith been revealed to you? Can you now call God your Father because you have become a child of God, a new creation in Christ?

Even before the law was given, sin was in the world. All of us were born dead spiritually. The law was powerless to save you nor could it.
