Several callers across the country called to ask Bob questions. Is baptism necessary for salvation? What is free will giving? What is tithing? Is tithing for today? Did I share Christ the right way? Can I lose my salvation? What does it mean to not judge someone? What does it mean to forsake the assembling yourselves together? Where can I go to worship? These are common questions asked by people today. Bob encouraged the callers and explained the meaning of the word of God to them while offering practical advice as appropriate to their need. Many scriptures are written down or referenced so you can also confirm what Bob said is so through the Holy Spirit who teaches you all things (1 John 2:27).

Rick thanked Bob for the teaching he heard that freed him from the law. He said he used to live by the law but found out it brought death. Bob encouraged him and reiterated what has been written in the scriptures concerning the testimony of the apostle Paul.

Bob answers some basic foundational questions callers asked on salvation as it relates to baptism, salvation, forgiveness of sin, and righteousness. Bob shares several passages of scriptures for each caller, showing from God’s word the truth they needed to ponder, so they can walk in that truth. Bob explained the meaning of scriptures to them so they could grasp the concepts that the Spirit spoke through him that he discerned they lacked in clarity of understanding. The callers asked sincere questions with a heart attitude of wanting to know truth. You can sense in how they asked that they really wanted to know truth and in their current walk in life these truths were being formed in them.

Bob clears up a little confusion Cletis had on what baptism is based on false teaching he was hearing from various things he has heard from new church he was attending. Leadership there were telling him that he should be baptized again. There is water baptism and there is spiritual baptism. Classic Christianity – Book of John P25 (12-05-18)

Bob George continues teaching from the book of John. He is currently in John 7 where the religious leaders are trying to turn the crowd against Jesus and many of the Jews are not understanding and are divided concerning Jesus. Some say Jesus is the prophet. Others say Jesus is the Messiah. Some Jews who knew some facts from scripture lacked full understanding and so doubted Jesus being the Messiah. Jesus clearly explained who he was, that he came from Heaven. Jesus had a message to shared concerning his death, burial and resurrection. But more than than that. He also told them that he will return to His Father so that he can send the Holy Spirit to dwell in men. Bob explains more thoroughly with other supporting scriptures to explain the significance of the Holy Spirit taking residence in the lives of men. The religious leaders, as well as others, could only think in the natural realm. The religious leaders wondered what he meant by saying he is going away. Is he going away to a far away country? Bob George answers calls from listeners for over 30 years on People to People to radio, providing practical biblical insights to help them experience faith, hope and love in Jesus Christ. The first caller, Lauren, had a question about why Melchizedek is mentioned in Hebrews. Bob addresses his question by explaining the reason Hebrews is written. Thee second caller, Edwin, asked a question about the reason for water baptism and baptism of the Holy Spirit. Bob answers by explaining the meaning of being baptized of the Holy Spirit, and only that baptism saves you. The third caller, Mark, asked a question with his 8 year old daughter on the line, about children and salvation. Bob answered by stating that knowing the nature of God as perfectly loving and justice, then it is not something we need to be concerned about. The next caller Todd, asked a specific question about John 20:23 and about Ananias in the book of Acts dropping dead. Bob answered both questions by looking at the scriptures more closely so as to guide into correct interpretation and not formulating a conclusion that is not stated in the scriptures. Bob George TeachingBob George continues teaching from the book of John. Bob shares what it means to born again, to have the Holy Spirit living in you, as John Baptist testified that Jesus would do. He also shares again some of the ways people have believed in error, following other doctrines and misplaced trust, believing in anything except Jesus Christ alone or even believing in Jesus plus something. Indeed, Jesus plus anything nullifies the finished work of Jesus Christ, and is really a false gospel one is believing. He also shares about those who only looked for what Jesus could do for them but had no change of heart, concerning who God is or even failing to recognize their own condition in sin to have a reason to come to believe. He shares a message Jesus told that should send chills to religious people who think so highly of themselves by the works they do, but fail to recognize Jesus and come to him for life and righteousness. Bob teaches out of the Book of Galatians, Chapter 6. Bob talks about the circumcised group (the Hebrews) and the uncircumcised group (the Gentiles). God doesn’t look at the outside of man but looks at what is going on the inside. Understanding it is a relationship with God that is important for every person.

Not Circumcision but the New Creation

“See what large letters I use as I write to you with my own hand!

Those who want to impress people by means of the flesh are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ. Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh. May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation. Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule—to the Israel of God.
