It is Finished

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P426 (3-28-19)

Bob George received calls from people across the country. Many thank him for sharing the truth that he shared so clearly from God’s word. Cecilia called and was very appreciative of Bob’s clear teaching. She was very enthusiastic of sharing all that the Lord taught her. She had been sharing with her friends about the finality of the cross and God’s unconditional love and forgiveness. Bob and Cecilia encouraged each other in the Lord. For the sake of the listeners on the air, Bob shared again what Cecilia already knew from the Spirit, that we are responders to God’s love through his finished work of the cross. We do not go to God asking for forgiveness every time we sin. We simply say “thank you” for His eternal sacrifice for sin that He performed once and for all. When Jesus shed His blood on the cross, he took away all the sins of the world; past, present and future sins. Indeed, all our sins were future when he died. Since his death, Jesus will never again shed his blood for his sacrifice was eternally sufficient to pay for the just requirement of death for all the sins of mankind.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

God is Not Counting Your Sins Against You

Classic Christianity – Bob George – New Years P2 (01-01-19)

Thank you so much for tuning into Classic Christianity radio with Bob George, who has been on the air for over 30 years, teaching people from God’s word. Our prayer for you is that you grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Let us now join Bob as he presents practical biblical insights to help people experience faith, hope and love in Jesus Christ.

Bob shares about the nature of man, the lost and the saved, outward actions and inward thoughts, the conflict between the flesh and the Spirit within every believer, and how to walk in the spirit so as not to carry out the desires of the flesh. Bob elaborates on the difference between belief and faith, highlighting a common misunderstanding concerning the forgiveness of sins. All the sins of the world have already been taken away at the cross, so a believer is a forgiven person and does not need to ask God for forgiveness nor should he without denigrating the finished work of the cross. Why ask for something you already have? Bob then goes into an explanation of your identity in Christ.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Bob George RadioWelcome to Classic Christianity radio, where for over 30 years Bob George has answered common questions by various callers with clear instruction and application from understanding the meaning of God’s word. The first caller, Eli, asked Bob advise on what translation are good translations and for any recommendations. The second caller, Steve, simply brought up a strange teaching he heard and wanted to bring it to Bob’s attention for further clarity although he clearly knew how false it was. The third caller, John, asked a question in regards to a specific passage of scripture and if those people referenced were saved. David asked a question in regards to what was lacking in Apollos in the book of Acts that he needed Priscilla and Aquila to explain truth more accurately. Eddie asked what it means to be led by the Holy Spirit in reference to teaching he heard from Pentecostal churches. The last caller asked Bob in regards to why there are lots of differences in teaching out there, such as what he has heard from Hank Haanagraf and Bob George.

As far as translations, Bob referred to New King James, New International Version (NIV), and New American Standard (NAS) as his favorites.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Bob George Teaching

Bob teaches out of the Book of Galatians, Chapter 6. Bob talks about the circumcised group (the Hebrews) and the uncircumcised group (the Gentiles). God doesn’t look at the outside of man but looks at what is going on the inside. Understanding it is a relationship with God that is important for every person.

Not Circumcision but the New Creation

“See what large letters I use as I write to you with my own hand!

Those who want to impress people by means of the flesh are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ. Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh. May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation. Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule—to the Israel of God.

From now on, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
