Sin Brought Death ~ Life Comes Through Faith in Jesus Christ

~ There is much sickness in the world, but the ultimate sickness is death. Death came about through sin. Jesus offers a cure for that, it’s called Life eternal. Receive Jesus, and receive His Life into you. And the warning is, if a person does not receive the Life of Jesus, there is the lake of fire for eternity.

~ “Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—” Romans 5:12

~ “so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 5:21

Jesus is Eternal Life

Eternal Life is Found in Christ Jesus

~ “And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.” 1 John 5:11-13

“But now he’s introducing to us the fact of eternal life in Christ Jesus, that this is the record that God has given us eternal life. And this life is any Son, and who has the Son has life. And who does not have the Son of God does not have life. It’s a cut and dried situation, folks, it’s, it’s not even a religion. It’s an extremely practical thing that God did for us. He says, if you need life, then you’re dead. And until we see our spiritual death, why would we ever come to him for spiritual life? If we’re not hungry, why would we come to Him for bread? Absent From The Body and Present With the Lord

~ “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:8

“Well, it says in Second Corinthians doesn’t it, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. And that’s talking about death. That’s when you’re absent from the body and present with the Lord. This is talking about end times. And so it says about brothers that don’t want you to be ignorant about the subjects now again, Andrew, we have to realize that punctuation is not there’s no inerrancy and punctuation. The Greek language in which the Bible is written had no periods or commas, do you understand that? There were no capitalization, there was nothing there was just written. So there’s no inerrancy, about punctuation. And so sometimes you have to be careful with where people in their translation put the periods and the commas. But let’s just go on with verse 13. Jesus Asks, “Do You Want to Get Well?”

~ When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?” John 5:6

“But he says, Be free to walk out of this room today and to know, I am a child of God indwelt by the Spirit of God who lives in me, now Lord, I’m available to you for you to do in and through me what you want to do in and through me period. I’m not there to match up what I’m doing next to somebody else, or to play one upmanship. Or to tell everybody how great we are, but I’m just want to be available to you to do in and through me, what you want me to do. Is that freedom? It ought to be freedom. A doctor can also give you some medicine that might heal you today, but you’re gonna die tomorrow.
