What is The Work of The Ministry? To Believe in Jesus.

~ Then they inquired, “What must we do to perform the works of God?”

Jesus replied, “The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent.” John 6:28,29

~ Works in the Bible are not what we typically think they are.

How many times have we heard that the Christian must do works to show they are saved? The subject of “works” as presented in the Bible is not what most people think they are. First off, a believer in Christ can not “produce” any good works in of themselves.

Now, let us talk about what good “works” really are as it relates to the Bible. The whole Christian world (that is all the religious folks), and even many of us that believe in total Grace have been brainwashed into thinking good works are something they are not. First off, Jesus explained what the “work” of God is and is a key foundational starting point. ~ We who are in Christ Jesus need to step back and look at the Truth of who is the One directing our paths. Many are out there trying to drive in rush hour traffic, all the time in the energy of the flesh. They think they have to be perfect in their flesh. They think that God expects some type of amazing defensive driving by them all the time. But here is the key thing, if you are in Christ Jesus, then He lives in you, and is leading you in ALL Truth and through the tribulations of Life. For it is in and through the tribulations of Life that we grow and know Him better, and learn how to Trust in Him moment by moment of the day. For we come to a sabbath rest in Him, and let Him train and teach us as we abide in Him. Classic Christianity – What’s Your Excuse? – Part 2 – 4-14-26

~ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you are like whitewashed tombs, which indeed on the outside appear beautiful, but on the inside they are full of bones of the dead and of all uncleanness. Thus also on the outside you indeed appear righteous to men, but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. Matthew 23:27,28

~ Jesus told it like it is. He called out the Pharisees as the hypocrites they were. Today we have modern day Parisees who are hypocrites too. And even more so today than in the past, because the law has been fulfilled in Christ Jesus. Yet they deny that with their pretend law keeping. And yes, it is pretend law keeping. They act out, with hypocricy and condemn others for not obeying the law, when they themselves do not obey the law. For no one can obey the law of God. And if they could, there would be no need for Jesus to have died on the cross for the sins of the whole world. And when you point out this Truth to them, they lash out in anger and use the arguments of Man to show they are at least trying to keep the law, as though God is grading on the curve and trying is somehow good enough with God.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

What is True Biblical Confession?

~ “that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:19

The core meaning of biblical confession is to agree with God, NOT to ask for forgiveness. This understanding is rooted in the Greek word for confession, homologeō, which literally means “to say the same thing as another” or “to assent.”

Key Tenets of Biblical Confession

  • Agreement, Not Petition: Confession is an act of agreeing with God about a situation, primarily acknowledging the reality of one’s sin and, more importantly, acknowledging the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
  • Total Forgiveness: Because of Christ’s sacrifice, forgiveness for all sins (past, present, and future) is a complete and established fact by God Himself. Asking for forgiveness is viewed as undermining the sufficiency of that single, finished work. We are to Thank Him for that forgiveness that was provided at the cross.
  • Interpretation of 1 John 1:9: The passage “If we confess our sins…” is not interpreted as a conditional if that must be met for God to grant forgiveness.

Jesus Will Lead You in ALL TRUTH Through His Spirit Living in You

~ “But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.” Galatians 5:18

~ When a person is in Christ Jesus, we are to be led by the Spirit of God, instead of our flesh. The flesh always wants to focus on self. The Spirit always wants us to focus on Jesus. There is this tug of war that goes on between the two. That tug of war causes us to be dependant on a moment by moment bases on the Spirit of God who lives in us. Our mind is constantly being renewed by Him, as He teaches us TRUTH. And there is a whole lot of TRUTH that we need to catch up on. TRUTH doesn’t end with understanding forgiveness of sins has been completed at the cross. Because there are a lot more lies than we have been taught through religion and the world and satan. When you learn the Truth of what is going on today, it will bring a flood of emotions to your soul. Faith is Standing in Truth of Forgiveness

God Made Believers Perfect in His Sight ~ Jesus Through The Spirit Brings LIfe to the Dead

~ “For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.” Hebrews 10:14

~ When a person comes to faith in Jesus, at that very moment in time the Spirit of God comes to live in the body of a believer, and He Himself makes us Perfect in His sight. Why? Because we are standing in His righteousness NOT our own righteousness. Now as we learn the TRUTH of this, we are to walk boldly in faith and know that He is with us always, and will never leave us nor forsake us in our times of need. We can go boldly into His presence, because quite frankly we are ALWAYS in His presence, and He is as close to us as we could ever be. Yes, someday we will see the physical Jesus in flesh and bone, just as the disciples saw Him too. So walk in faith every moment of your life, and remember these truths.
