The Plan of God – Jesus Fulfilled It

Hebrews gives a panoramic view of God’s dealing with mankind and the final solution in Jesus Christ. When you think of the Old Testament, what thoughts come to your mind? Have you looked at it close enough to realize how patient and long-suffering God was with mankind? Do you think of God as an angry God ready to pounce on you when you sin? If you do, then you have not properly understood the heart of God and the purpose for which he came.

As you read about the continual failures of mankind, do you think God was surprised at that? Man was already born dead, without the Spirit of God in him. God, knowing all that, had a plan to restore mankind back to a relationship with Himself. See man is hopeless and dead in his trespasses and sins. So out of great love for mankind, God sent His Son, at the right time, to enter this world. He entered this world to show us his righteousness so that we can see our unrighteousness, and see our need for Him and His righteousness. When You Are In Christ Jesus, You Are A New Creation! A Saint!

Grab a hold of your identity in Christ Jesus. When Jesus makes you a new creation, He makes you a saint. You can never be a sinner again. As Bob tells it, you are a new butterfly, quit believing you are a worm.

John 15:5
5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

So now, we abide in Christ Jesus. If you have Christ living in you, you are now a brand new person. You are a SAINT. You are no longer a sinner. Understand that you are no longer a sinner. God sees you as a saint. He sees you as a child of God. We need to see ourselves as He sees us!

Understanding the Fullness of the Gospel

When learning about new things, we tend to learn it better and retain what we have learned when we hear something and see something. Also, when we say it out loud or teach others what we have learned, it reinforces it in our own mind of the truths being taught to us. Jesus even makes mention of this learning experience in the word of God.

For us today, learning the fullness of the Gospel message can be helped along by both hearing the word of God and seeing the word of God and saying the word of God out loud for ourselves too. This is where the Closer Look Bible Studies are so beneficial in teaching us the fullness of the gospel message. We hear it, we read it, we say it, and then we write it down too. Many times people want to go get “higher learning” in the area of bible study. So they up and go to seminary, and end up trusting in man to teach them the meaning of the word of God instead of trusting in the Holy Spirit, alive, living in the believer. The bible is unique in that we read the word of God to learn more about Jesus. Yet people refuse to come to Jesus for life. Join Bob George as he addresses these topics and others on the air.

The first caller, Bobby called from San Diego California, after coming to a proper understanding the forgiveness message. Yet, he was going to a bible college and felt like his life was becoming more legalistic under the teachings of men.

With so much religion talk in the world today, including that of Christianity, there is a teaching in both Catholic and Protestant churches that you have to keep going back to God to get your sins forgiven. The Catholic goes to the confession booth to a priest and the Protestant goes to their own virtual confession booth and continually asks for forgiveness of sins. These people are making a mockery of the cross. They have never repented in their understanding of what Jesus did on the cross for them. They keep pushing Jesus back up there and asking Jesus for what He has already done. Many many people refuse to believe in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. Join Bob George as he answers these questions and others on the air.

Understanding The Reality of The Resurrection of Jesus Christ

Join Bob George as he begins a new study on “A Closer Look at The Reality of The Resurrection.”

The cross was were we were reconciled to God, but the resurrection is for LIFE.

Yes Jesus said, “I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly” (John 10:10). Yet the average professing Christian is saying. “There is nothing abundant about my life. I know my sins are forgiven and that I am going to heaven, but what about today! I still experience doubts, fears, frustrations, and defeat. Surely there must be something more to this Christian life.”

There is and it comes from understanding the fullness of the gospel. Most people when asked, “What is your understanding of the gospel?” respond, “Christ died for my sins.” This is only part of the gospel. Christ was also raised from the dead, and it is through His resurrection that we see the full gospel. The full gospel can be summed up like this:

Jesus Christ gave His life for us;
so that He could give His life to us;
