When the Holy Spirit comes to indwell a person today, He teaches us the mystery of His will. Now it’s important for us to understand, that those who are not in Christ Jesus, who are not born of God, will not understand the mystery of God, for they do not have Truth living in them. And you can speak to someone, till blue in the face, of the things of God, and they will not have a clue what you are even talking about. It requires the Holy Spirit living in a person to teach a person what the word of God means. ~ “The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise as some understand slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9
~ Today, we have large groups of people that believe God picks winners and losers in spite of what the Word of God says. God is not wanting anyone to perish, and come to repentance (a change of mind). How can a person believe that the offer of salvation is made to everyone, yet it’s not really made to everyone, and only to those God picks? The logic doesn’t add up. God would have to be a liar to offer salvation to everyone, but not really for everyone. And we know God is NOT a liar. So what is the story about predestination and election in the word of God? Well, God is talking about groups of people elected to be part of His One body, through faith in Him. God Predestined Salvation for BOTH HEBREWS/ISRAELITES and Gentiles to Be Called Sons of God

~ “For He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in His presence. In love He predestined us for adoption as His sons through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the Beloved One.” Ephesians 1:3-6

~ “Therefore remember that formerly you who are Gentiles in the flesh and called uncircumcised by the so-called circumcision (that done in the body by human hands)— remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. A Living Sacrifice

For The True Child of God, Our Bodies Are Living Sacrifices to God

This is so important for us to understand for today, to the child of God, those born of God, who have the Holy Spirit living in them, we are Holy because He made us Holy. And because He lives in us, and everyone in Christ Jesus is the temple of God, we are to offer our bodies to Him, which is our true worship today. We don’t make ourselves holy, we don’t make ourselves set apart. He did it ALL. Jesus Sets Believers Apart Sanctified

A Born Again Believer Will Be Set Apart Directly by God

~ “Just as you who formerly disobeyed God have now received mercy through their disobedience, so they too have now disobeyed, in order that they too may now receive mercy through the mercy shown to you. For God has consigned everyone to disobedience so that He may have mercy on everyone.”

God has consigned everyone to disobedience so that He may have mercy on everyone. That is key. Everyone has been disobedient, therefore He has extend mercy towards everyone today. For we are ALL in the same boat, lost to begin with, without the Holy Spirit living in us. And He gives Life, by the Holy Spirit coming to live inside the True believer, to those that place Faith in Him. That was God’s decision, not ours, of the plan of salvation. Jesus took away everyone’s sins at the cross, (that was his mercy given to everyone), and offers life to EVERYONE, who places Faith in Jesus and what He did on the cross for them.
