Jesus Sent His Holy Spirit to Teach Truth

The Holy Spirit is the Person That Points us to Jesus

~ There is only one way to worship God today, and that is in Spirit and in Truth. First off, a person has to have the Holy Spirit alive living in them to worship in both Spirit and in Truth. If they do not have the Holy Spirit living in them then they are not a child of God and cannot worship in His Spirit. For God’s Spirit does not live in them. Second off, we need to worship in Truth. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. Only in Him can we begin to understand All Truth. And He said he would guide us in All Truth if we abide in him. But many want to lean on their own understanding of things, and let their flesh guide them instead of depending on the Holy Spirit to guide them. The beginning of all truth is found in Jesus. And the Holy Spirit points us to Jesus, the author of truth.

God is Not a Forgiveness Vending Machine

~ Most people believe the lie of ongoing forgiveness by God. They refuse to place faith in the finished work of Jesus on the cross and even calling Jesus a liar by their very actions. They wrongly believe and teach that 1 John 1:9 means to ask for forgiveness from God. First off, the word confess in the Greek means to agree with God. It never meant to ask for forgiveness. Yet that is still how the word confess is improperly understood in the world today and the worst offenders of that false teaching is within the organized church. Most people believe they plop in their prayer requests to God for forgiveness and out magically pops forgiveness by God. They even believe in several types of forgiveness, “positional forgiveness” and “experiential forgiveness” or whatever terms people are assigning to the various forms of forgiveness being taught today. Can you imagine going up to Jesus in the flesh today, and say, “Jesus, I know you forgave me positionally at the cross, now please forgive me experientially today.” Can you imagine what the response of Jesus would be?… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

The Spirit Has to Teach You the Meaning of the Word of God

~ The topic of Bible translations came up today. A caller wanted to know what bible translation she should use. There are many people that believe that the KJV is the only true bible to use out there. As though Jesus spoke in King James English and that the original writings were in King James English too. Keep in mind, that all bible translations have issues and that right there requires the Holy Spirit living in a believer to explain the true meaning of things, even in the original Greek or Hebrew languages. That is why we need to depend upon the Holy Spirit to teach us all truth. We need God’s discernment living in us to guide us into the meaning of the word of God and to correct us on our understanding of even the actual words and their proper meanings. When You Teach the Truth About Jesus, The World Will Hate You

~ Teaching the truth about Jesus and forgiveness will get you thrown out of churches today. Why? Because Jesus told us, “if they hate you it is because they hated me first.” By in-large, most people will not accept the things of God. Why? Because they love themselves more than they love God. They would rather listen to the teaching of men than listen to the teaching of the Holy Spirit. They love things of the world more than they love God. They love the praises of men, more than they love God. They love their education of the world, more than they love God. They refuse to come to the Spirit of Truth for truth, for All truth, and instead rely on their own understanding of things to make the determination of whether they are even saved or not. Satan doesn’t want a person to go to the word of God and have the Holy Spirit show a person all truth. Make Your Body Available to Jesus For Service to Him

~ In view of God’s mercy and love for us, we ought to love one another as he has loved us. How do we do that? By abiding in the Vine. For He is the vine and we are the branches. He wants us to simply be available to be used by Him. That is our proper worship and our daily sacrifice to Him. When a child of God is abiding in Him, the Holy Spirit will instruct us to do and say what the Spirit of God wants us to do and say. God is the one that will provide the fruit of the Spirit. We can’t do any of it ourselves, but only He can do all of it. Yet so many times, we forget the truth of the word of God in this area of our lives, and we try and go out grunting and groaning for God himself. We stop resting in Him and instead focus on what we think we ought to do, based on the energy of our flesh. Reconciliation Jesus Took Away Your Sins on the Cross

You Come to Christ Jesus Because Your Sins Are Already Forgiven at The Cross

~ One of the biggest lies and misunderstandings of the gospel that is taught today, is the lie, that you come to Christ Jesus to get your sins forgiven. Satan has convinced the world that you come to Jesus, and then he forgives you your sins when you ask for it, or faith it. Another way of saying it, is most people don’t believe that Jesus died for everyone’s sins, only those that place faith in Jesus. So called grace teachers will teach this one point of Calvinism very subtlety. They won’t say that Jesus had limited atonement but they will indirectly say there is limited propitiation of sins only for the elect. One well known teacher will even go so far as to say “that anyone that teaches that Jesus forgave everyone’s sins at the cross is a charlatan.” They will not even tell a lost person their sins are forgiven, because in their mind they don’t know if that person will ever have faith or not to believe their sins are forgiven, thus they don’t know if a person’s sins are forgiven or not.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
