A Scriptural Journey to Discover the Grace of God ~ Bible Study

~ Well, I’ll tell you, Ted, there’s a lot of things that you can do. In a study like that. The thing of it is, I don’t know the maturity of the people that you’re talking about. Whenever I’ve gotten in with a group, I start right at the beginning, because I’m not going to assume anything. We have a book called “A Scriptural Journey to Discover the Grace of God.” And basically it is dealing with eight lessons. That, to me, are the foundation of the Christian life. Actually, these are eight lessons. And they’re foundational, and if you do not have a solid foundation, it doesn’t matter if a difference where you’re teaching the book study, you’re not you’re not going to grab it because you can go through a book study and still not get a hold of the truth of some of these foundational truths, law and grace. You can go through a study and study their book of Romans and still not understand whether you’re under the law, whether you’re not. And so these kinds of books force you to look up the scriptures, as all it is in Scripture, to look up the scriptures and to let the word of God, minister to your hearts.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Believe in the Jesus of the Bible, Not of Man’s Teachings

~ There is only one way to be saved and that is the Jesus of the Bible. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Him.

So many times, people involved in cults or various so called “Christian religions” that they insist they worship the same Jesus when in fact they are worshiping a different Jesus. They are following the teaching of men rather than the teaching of God.

It is wise to tell the truth in all matters and to tell people like it is. And as a Christian, we judge all things. We are told that we judge all things from the word of God. So don’t let anyone put you on a guilt trip if you judge a person to be lost, rather than saved. For it is better for them to hear truth than to beat around the bush and make them fell good in their error.

“But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.” 1 Corinthians 2:15

We Live By Faith in and Through the Holy Spirit ~ Not by Observing the Law

~ Those that want to live under both law and grace, Paul knew exactly how bad it really was. “As a matter of fact, he saw the destructive power of it. Because folks what it does, it keeps you from walking in the life that God intended you to walk in. And that’s a walk of faith. That’s the only way you can live under grace is by faith and without faith, it’s impossible to please God. And so this is what keeps you from walking by faith, you don’t walk by faith into the law, you walk by obedience to the law, you don’t walk by faith, you walk in personal fleshly, obedience to an outward law written on stone. And you can do that, to the best of your ability, whether you’re lost or whether you’re saved, you don’t have to be saved. The Law Can’t Make You Righteous ~ Only Jesus Can Make You Righteous

~ “We talked about what the law was powerless to do, it can’t bring me can’t make you righteous, no man will ever be declared righteous in the sight of God to obedience to the law. It can’t give you life. It can’t cleanse you of unrighteousness it can’t justify you. It can’t do any of those things except condemn you. So the law was powerless to bring to man what man needed life, righteousness, justification, all of those things. law can’t do that all the law could do is condemn. Now Christ came therefore to fulfill the law in which he did by walking in perfect love for some 33 years on this earth. And love became the fulfillment of the law. Now that’s what qualified him the life that he lived, lived is what qualified him for the death that he died. And the death that he died is what qualifies us for the life that we live. ~ “And so when we come to Christ, we thank him for the fact that he took away eternally the cause of death, which is sin. And then therefore, having taken away the cause of death, which is sin, he was able to offer you and me a life called eternal life that can never be taken away from you. The reason that that life cannot depart from you and me, is because the only thing that could cause it to depart from you and me, would be sin. And the reason that’s an impossibility is because he took it away. They were so there anything that can cause his life to depart from you and me, that’s why we have what we call eternal security, who has the Son has life, and he does not have the Son of God does not have life. So when you come to Him for what He came to give you life, I didn’t have life. I was born dead, all of us were born dead.
