2 Corinthians 3:6
6 He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

So He upheld the law. He fulfilled it with His life. He upheld it with His death. When He was buried. He buried the law, meaning we died to the law. The law is what killed, as Paul said through the law, I died to the law. The law killed me. And in my death and resurrection, I died to the thing that killed me. So we buried the law so that we could be raised from the dead in the newness of life, being freed from the law. So Christ fulfilled the law through His life. He upheld the law in His death. An Eternal Inheritance – We’ve Been Made Perfect in His Sight

We are continuing along in our bible study book, A Closer Look at The Reality of The Resurrection. Let’s listen is as Bob teaches from the An Eternal Inheritance chapter.

Bob: We’re picking up on our lesson called An Eternal Inheritance, and it’s probably one of the most disputed doctrines in the scripture. It is amazing when you take a look at the totality of what is called the Christian faith of the terrific high percentage of people that teach that you can lose your eternal inheritance. Which is kind of a contradiction of terms to lose eternal inheritance, but there are a terrific number of people who teach that. It’s an interesting thing, in my opinion, that you also have a large group of people who not only teach that you have to work for salvation. So you’ve got a whole group of people teaching you have to work to get saved and then you’ve got a whole bunch of people teaching that once you do (get saved), you can lose what you worked for and a very small percentage of people that teach that it is finished or justification by faith and by faith alone.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Repent and Come Back to the Real Gospel: Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus

In today’s first callin, we hear from Ann in Houston, Texas. She wanted to share her appreciation with Bob in regards to a recent radio program in dealing with people with cancers and the fears that doctors are instilling into their patients. It’s also important to remember that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and further to remember that we are all going to be absent from the body and present with the Lord for all those in Christ Jesus. Listen in as Bob and Ann discuss what is going on with doctors today. Nothing has changed, and if anything things have gotten worse. We need to be prepared for the crises that are sure to come into our lives, and it is vitally important that we understand who we are in Christ Jesus and the word of God. So many times, people are not prepared for crisis, because they do not even know the word of God.

Say Thank You to God for What He Has Done For You

A number of callers called in on today’s program dealing with some heart felt issues of life.

The first caller, Hans called from Eugene, Oregon. He was dealing with cancer related issues and wanted to know what the word of God had to say on certain treatments that may affect a person’s thinking. Bob gives some insights into this with him and also talks about some people that Bob knew that were friends of his that were dealing with similar things themselves. Listen in as Bob shares these things with Hans. Bob also mentioned how doctors try to scare people today and Bob says that he is not scared and tells doctors right to their face in regards to that. It is hard to get an honest answer from doctors today.

The second caller, Jesse called from Atlanta, Georgia. He had a question into sharing with his mentally challenged son about Jesus. Bob mentions that we are to share the gospel with them the same way we share with anyone else. Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Reality of The Resurrection P38 (02-23-22)

What God did you respond to folks? The god who rewards the righteous or the GOD Who Justifies the Wicked?

We will review a bit of yesterday’s program and then continue on with taking A Closer Look at The Reality of The Resurrection with that same lesson. The importance of this message can not be overstated. God is the one that justifies the wicked. He doesn’t reward the righteous, for there aren’t any. The sooner we understand that, the sooner we come to the end of ourselves and the sooner we can share the full truth of the gospel with others.

Now, is that good news, or is that bad news? Well to the self-righteous, I don’t like that because I want to make myself holy. And so we walk around and think we’re going to make ourselves holy, by what we wear, the length of our hair, what we wear to compare all to everything else. You just go right down the line as to the mindset of the person who thinks they’re going to make themselves holy. Jesus is God Who Justifies the Wicked

Let’s continue on with Taking a Closer Look at The Reality of The Resurrection.

Romans 4:5
5 However, to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited as righteousness.

Last week, I think at least to me, was one of the most important lessons that we’ve ever done since I’ve been a Christian. And as I think back on that and again, to see the unbelievable importance of the communication to people that there is either a God that is the true God that has been revealed to us in the scripture or there are god’s we just make up in our own minds. And it’s vitally important to know which one we have responded to. As we said last week, we talked through the book of Romans in the passages of Romans, where it is talking about the fact that to the man who does not work, but trusts the God, who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited to him as righteousness.
