Many people said that they know someone who is going to heaven. When you ask him to explain, they say because he is a good person or nice or something like that. I used to hear people say that Catholics are Christian too. Now, I hear people say that Mormons are Christians too. Nowadays, you even have these inter-faith movements, a uniting of Muslims with Christianity, called Chrislam, as if they worship the same God. You are not a Christian, or a born again person, a child of God, by going to a certain denomination or even going through all the traditions of men established by that denomination (John 1:11-13).

John 1:11-13
¹¹ He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. ¹² Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God – ¹³ children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

Encouragement and Helpful Advice to Grow in Grace

Growing in grace requires getting to know God better. That is why God give us two ears and one mouth, so that we can listen twice as much as we speak. You cannot understand the grace of God until you listen to Him talking to you. God already knows everything about us. Before a word comes out of our mouth, He knows it. But we do not know everything about God, and we come to know Him, what truth is, and God is full of grace and truth, by listening. God hears the attitudes of our heart. If we were mute, that would certainly be the case. So you may come to discover that as you grow in grace, you will spend less time talking and more time listening.

Many people have asked about growing in grace. People ask about where to start reading the bible or even how to read the bible. Unlike any other book, the bible is a love letter from God to you. Know the Truth and the Truth Shall Set You Free

Much of the so-called Christian community have been taught that you can be in and out of fellowship with God, either meaning that you can lose your salvation or you can lose fellowship with God when you sin, and when you lose fellowship, you have to confess those sins in order to get back in fellowship. Has anyone tested to see if what is being said is true, according to the bible, as the apostle Paul commended the people of Berea for doing (Acts 17:11)? And if they did, do they know how to properly interpret the scriptures? Do they even have a sufficient background to do so? Many people do not know what the New Covenant of grace is that we live under today.

There are many people who do not know the complete gospel message, the totality of the cross and of being made complete in Christ. Truth of 1 John 1 is Understood in the Context of a New Covenant Framework

Have you ever heard someone say that God forgives the sins you confess? Is that true according to the scripture? No. Like this and many other questions regarding forgiveness, people who ask such questions do not know what Jesus accomplished by way of the cross. We have all these theologies that are paralyzing the Christian community with this concept that you can get in and out of fellowship with God. Not only were all the sins of the entire world taken away, forgiven forever, from the eyes of God when Jesus shed His blood on a cross, but Jesus rose from the dead in order to give to you and me eternal life, an indestructible life, that cannot be taken away by sin, having ushered in a New Covenant of grace that we are to live under today. Learn to Walk in Freedom in That Sabbath Rest in the New Covenant of Grace

When a person does not know the full gospel, has been taught erroneous teaching of in and out of fellowship, that you can lose salvation or lose fellowship, and does not understand the New Covenant He is under today, he is unable to rest in the fact that God has not only done it all, has taken away your sins from the eyes of God never to see them again, but is always alive, living in you, forever interceding for you.

As you ponder over these scriptures, Romans 5:10, Hebrews 9:22-28, Hebrews 10:9-18, Hebrews 4:1-11, Hebrews 7:23-25, and Hebrews 3:18-19, what conclusions can be drawn?

The Word of God Goes Out and Will Accomplish The Desire of God’s Heart; Rely on the Spirit to Reveal Truth to You

If you are a relatively new believer or have not spent much time in the word, there are many common questions you want answers to. Listen as Bob George answers questions from the scriptures such as, “Is there marriage in heaven?” When you read the scriptures, you will eventually read Matthew 22:29, which provides a clear answer to that. Other questions asked are about being raised on the last day in the passage of scripture in John 6:39-40. As you read that whole chapter and other passages of scripture, then the meaning is more fully understood. Sometimes little things, such as realizing it said “last day”, and not “last days”, gives us insight into the meaning. It refers to the last day you are alive physically on this earth. There are epistles of Paul that goes into greater detail on a lot of these types of things. And on elaborating more fully what the grace of God is, Paul’s writings are very helpful.
