Enter the Reality of the Sabbath, which is in Christ Alone, Who Did All the Work For You, Who Made You Perfect or Complete, Pure, Holy, Blameless, Righteous, Sanctified, or Set Apart, and Seated You in the Heavenlies

As you ponder over these passages of scriptures, Hebrews 4:1-11, Hebrews 10:1-14, Hebrews 7:11-28, and Hebrews 8:28, what do you conclude in regarding this Sabbath rest that we can enter into?

Hebrews 4:9-11
⁹ There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; ¹⁰ for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. ¹¹ Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience [unbelief].

What has Christ said? And if what Christ said is true, what can you conclude about what you have to do to draw near to God in worship? Many times people have questions that they want answers to but do not know who to call or talk to. So it is wonderful to have had a program like this where a person can call and get answers to their questions. The bible is true and is reliable for truth. At times a person will call in because they are in a conversation with a person who has a different bible than ours, such as Catholics which also have the Apocrypha included in it. Other times a person calls in to ask about what this judging another person is about. Another person calls in because he is troubled by what he sees as the trends in society, such as the acceptance of homosexuality as an alternative lifestyle or people saying they are born that way. Then there are those questions about whether a person dies before his time. Many times people have questions that they want answers to but do not know who to call or talk to. So it is wonderful to have had a program like this where a person can call and get answers to their questions. Sometimes a question can be about a brother who does not believe the New Testament is accurate and wants to help his brother have confidence that the bible is true and is reliable for truth. Other times a very young believer calls for questions on a passage of scripture he was reading or heard from a church he was visiting, and wants understanding or clarification. Sometimes the question is on how to pray for unsaved loved ones.

Bob shares that the bible is reliable because there are so many copies of them that were meticulously copied by those Israelite scribes. With the discovery of the Dead Sea scrolls in recent history that is verifiable. But also by the fact that all those copies were written down within 40 years of the events. Jesus is Our Sabbath Rest for Those in Christ

Are You Burdened and Heavy Laden? Who Can Give You Rest for Your Soul? Jesus Says, “Come Unto Me.”

Have you lost a son or a daughter, a mother or a father? Have you been kicked out of a church for sharing completed forgiveness? Have you been fired from a job? Are you homeless? Are you without a family or friends you can talk to? Do relationships with people just seem to fall apart? Have you not seen relatives in years or been able to talk with them because of deep pain? Do you have a son or daughter who is just struggling in life, and you see him or her hurt and you hurt with them too? Do you feel you are carrying this burden all alone? But, know this, you are not alone. God is with you. Let Him carry the load. Can you see that He is carrying the load?

Are You as Perfect As Jesus Christ?

If you were asked, “Are you as perfect as Jesus Christ?”, what would be your answer? Are you in Christ? Are you in Him? If you say “yes” to that, what would your answer be, according to the word of God? Have you understood the New Covenant of God’s grace? So let us look at some passages of scriptures so we can come to a conclusion. What did God say?

Hebrews 10:14
¹⁴ For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.

Do we believe what God said, or are we like Adam in the garden of Eden, who did not believe what God said. “I know God said to not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, but I say it is good for me.” What happened to Adam? He sinned and he died, just as God had said would happen.

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Finality of The Cross P28 (10-11-21)

Darkness and Light Refers to Lost and Saved in Scripture

Much of the so-called Christian community have been taught that you can be in and out of fellowship with God, either meaning that you can lose your salvation or you can lose fellowship with God when you sin, and when you lose fellowship, you have to confess those sins in order to get back in fellowship. But let us focus in on this one passage of scripture, where light and darkness are used.

1 John 1:5-7
⁵ This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. ⁶ If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. ⁷ But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

In this passage in 1 John, there is this contrast between light and darkness, and whenever you see light and darkness in the scriptures, it refers to saved and lost, respectively.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
