Be Anxious for Nothing Jesus is Our Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving P2 – Bob George (11-23-23)

Do Not Be Anxious About Anything for Jesus is Our Thanksgiving

~ Jesus is indeed our thanksgiving. Everything we have to be thankful for is found in Him. So spend this day and all the days of our lives thanking Him for what he has done for us. Share that with others. Trust in Him to lead you in all understanding. Trust in Him to lead you in all Truth. Trust in Him to live His life in and through you. Don’t fret about anything. For He is alive living in each and every true believer today. So give thanks to Jesus our Lord and Savior. Share his Love with others.

~ Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. Colossians 2:6,7

~ Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Law Shows Your Sin

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P883 (11-02-23)

Law Shows You Your Sin ~ Place Faith in Jesus For Life

~ Discernment is key today. People are so quick to listen to the teaching of error, because the overwhelming majority of pastors and teachers are actually lost. They themselves do not have the Holy Spirit alive living in them. How is it that we fail to test the spirits, to see if they are truly of God? Most do not test the spirits at all, even though the word of God specifically tells us to test the spirits [1 John 4:1-6]. They are caught in another lie of Satan that uses the word of God out of context to not judge or you will be judged, as though God is going to judge you for judging a person [Matthew 7:2]. So instead, they continue to listen to the lies of Satan and his spokespeople, that wrongly teach law keeping as though someone can now keep the law.

Folks, this is a warning for all of us today. Most are lost dead people in the world who simply repeat what the word of God says, but change the meaning of what the word of God actually means.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus Said to the Father Forgive Them

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P42 (05-10-23)

Jesus Said, “Father Forgive Them They Don’t Know What They Are Doing.”

~ Jesus spoke to the Father all the time. And we know that everything He did was the Father telling him to do it, and everything He said was the Father telling Him to say it. So when we see that Jesus spoke to the Father from the cross and said to “forgive them,” you can rest assured that God did indeed forgive them at the cross. For Jesus forgave (past tense) the sins of the whole world at the cross.

~ Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.” Luke 23:34

~ Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed. For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it.Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus is The Righteousness of God - Have Faith in Him

Classic Christianity – The Book of John P41 (05-09-23)

Only by Faith in Christ Jesus Can We Be In The Righteousness of God

~ “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we a have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.” Romans 5:1,2

~ We cannot stand in our own righteousness before God, because we don’t have any righteousness of our own. We must go into the presence of God in His righteousness. For Jesus is our righteousness to ALL who are in Christ Jesus.

~ “For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” Romans 1:17

~ “There’s not a person in this room or a person within the sound of my voice that could walk into the presence of God today in your own righteousness. If you think you can, you’re deceived out of your socks. Because God’s righteousness is not predicated on how well you’re doing up next to another man.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Repent And Believe Jesus is God

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P827 (04-20-23)

What Does Repentance Mean in the Scriptures?

~ We repent of our unbelief in Jesus and believe in Him for salvation. When we change our mind (repent), the Holy Spirit gives us eternal life at that very moment in time.

~ “The world’s sin is unbelief in me; there is righteousness available because I go to the Father and you shall see me no more; there is deliverance from judgment because the prince of this world has already been judged.” John 16:9-11 ~ Living Bible

~ Bob George
“Repentance in the Bible, as we’ve kind of mentioned before, is a very strong word. We have watered it down like we do the word Christian and everything else would then have a meaning to it. And so repentance is the same way. It’s a very, very strong word. It is used in the Scriptures only as it relates to salvation, because you’re talking about a total change of identity, you’re not talking about I’m smoking but I’m going to repent and quit smoking, because you could start again. And that would mean you never repented. So repentance in the Scripture means a permanent change.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

The New Covenant of Jesus Christ

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P817 (03-16-23)

Jesus Taught Under the Old Covenant to Bury Us

~ “In the case of a will, it is necessary to prove the death of the one who made it, because a will is in force only when somebody has died; it never takes effect while the one who made it is living.” Hebrews 9:16,17

~ Bob George
“The New Covenant is like a will or a testament, you got an Old Testament, you have a New Testament, a will or a testament does not go into effect until the one who made it dies. And that’s why in Hebrews, it talks about the fact that a will does not go into effect until the one who made it dies. It never goes into effect, while the one who made it is living. So the New Covenant went into effect at the death of Jesus. Now, if that’s the case, which indeed it is, because he fulfilled the old, by walking in perfect love and love is the fulfillment of the law. And then he ushered in a New Covenant of grace that went into effect at the death of Christ Jesus, just like, if you have a will, it will not go into effect until you die.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
