Synopsis
The Jews have been taught all their life from the Old Testament scriptures by the rabbis, but many of the religious leaders in their day did not understand the purpose of the law. They taught the laws as a means of righteousness. They also added traditions of men, which God never approved, and which Jesus pointed out their error. How hard it is for people today to receive truth, when they have been taught wrong from their religious traditions, whether Catholic, Protestant or Jewish. You do not know you are taught wrong. You hear an explanation from a Protestant or Catholic religious leader, but you do not know why Jesus died, was buried and rose again, for you.
