One caller accepted the gift of eternal life while listening to Bob explain the gospel message. Bob encouraged him to study the bible to know the truth and left him materials to help him grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, material that is designed to be read alongside the scriptures, so the Holy Spirit will reveal truth to men.

Bob George answers the common questions asked by people wanting to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Several callers asked about baptism. What is the difference between water baptism and the baptism of the Holy Spirit? Bob explained that the baptism that saves is faith in the resurrection in Jesus Christ. He explains how water baptism is a symbol of what happened when someone is born again spiritually and placed into the body of Christ. Water baptism does not place you in the body of Christ. Churches might teach that water baptism places you in their local body, but water baptism can take place anywhere and is a public testimony of someone’s spiritual birth, a visual picture of what Christ alone did for him. You go under the water identifying with Christ’s death and come out of the water symbolizing that you are made into a new creation in Christ. In water baptism, you are testifying as being a part of the body of Christ, by spiritual baptism, having put your faith in what Christ alone has done for you in His resurrection.
