It’s So Important to Understand The Truth About The Lord’s Supper, Tithing and Repentance

When it comes to giving today, people are placed on guilt trips as a means of control by legalistic churches. And most of the pastors will do so, even indirectly telling a person to give their “tithes and offerings” to help support the particular ministry. Well folks, anyone preaching tithing is actually preaching legalism today. And quite frankly, no one that is a true Christian should be supporting legalism in any way. Why would you want to support your chain masters? And furthermore, tithing is simply the tip of the iceberg for these pastors and teachers of the law. For if they are teaching tithing in error you can rest assured that they are teaching other major errors also.

Another area where people are taught major error is in regards to the Lord’s Supper. The Lord’s Supper is not about introspection of sins and looking at one’s self to see if they are cleaned up or not. The World’s Sin is Unbelief in Jesus

And so, from God’s vantage point, that’s where He cleansed all men, took away their sins, of the world. But you see my friends, we are still left with that sin of unbelief. All people are born into this world in unbelief. And so there’s only one sin, not to be forgiven, sins have already been forgiven, unbelief doesn’t need forgiving, it needs repented of. It needs changed. It would do you no good for God to say, hey unbeliever, I forgive you as an unbeliever. Because what are you? A forgiven unbeliever.

Just as a person’s physical growth is based on proper diet and exercise, so is the Christians’s spiritual growth dependent on regular feeding upon the word of God and application of its principles. Saved by the Baptism of The Holy Spirit Not Water Baptism – You Must Repent of Your Unbelief and Believe in Christ Jesus

In today’s Classic Christianity Radio program Bob discusses baptism of the Holy Spirit vs water baptism. Only baptism by the Holy Spirit, making a person born again of the Spirit, is the only way salvation takes place. Water baptism doesn’t do anything for you except get you wet.
