God Dealt with Sin. Jesus said, “It is Finished”, and Conquered Death, so You can Receive Him by Faith. So Walk in Freedom, Now that You are Free.

Have you ever been presented with the gospel as coming forward to get your sins forgiven? That is not the gospel. Forgiveness of sins was provided 2000 years ago at a cross, and is what the godhead had decided beforehand that must be done in order for salvation to be given. For salvation is the receiving of new life. If the cause of our death, which is sin, was not solved first, then life could not be given, and as the apostle Paul said, if Christ was not raised we are still dead in our sins (1 Corinthians 15).

1 Corinthians 15:16-17
16 For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. 17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still dead in your sins.

So Jesus death on a cross was a necessary preparation for life to be given. So there are two problems, sin, which caused our death, and death, our separation from God due to sin, which can only be solved by resurrected life.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Have you ever been tempted to sin? Have you been ensnared and trapped in sin? If we do not guard our hearts, Satan has a way of deceiving us, and it starts out small and innocent enough, and we rationalize it away, then before long you are ensnared. Many a person has stolen money from a college, a business or a ministry and then found themselves in a debt they cannot pay. They try to keep that hidden but are eventually found out. So there is a predicament that occurs for all parties involved and affected, and a solution has to be worked out, for that debt has to be paid.

There was a story of a young man who lied about having obtained his degree, but he failed his last course in college. He had already been offered a job in lieu of getting a college degree. Man Needed Reconciliation to God with Sins Forgiven but Also Restoration with God, with Eternal Life, Being Made Complete in Christ Jesus

There are many people who say they got saved when they were young, but later in life had doubts. A simple question to ask, “What was your understanding of the gospel?” When Bob George asked people that question, he says that nine times out of ten a person will respond that the gospel is getting your sins forgiven. That in itself is not the gospel. It is a necessary preparation for the gospel to be given. So what is the gospel, the message of good news in Christ Jesus?

Jesus came to take away the sins of the world, and that is how man’s sins have been forgiven. There was a means in the Old Testament to get your sins forgiven, and it involved the shedding of blood of an animal, but it had to be repeated year after year, and could never take away sins. The Gospel, the Message of Grace in Christ Jesus, Must be Told to Grow in Grace

You are blessed if you are under a church that teaches the true message of grace and not one that teaches a mixed gospel. If you are in an extremely law-oriented church, then it is strongly urged that you leave such a church lest that influence continues for the rest of your life. But once you grasp the message of grace in Christ Jesus, then you will continue to grow in grace. If you have it in your heart to teach the message of grace, then certainly make yourself available to teach that grace to others, as the Lord leads and provides such opportunities for you. A pastor who teaches grace should be looking for people of like mind to teach that message of grace. It is good advice to raise a core leadership team that will teach that message with the mindset of continuing that message to future generations. Be Set Free to Grow in Grace, With Christ Alive Living in You, Teaching You Truth

Many people have this concept of separation of church and state, where what you do on Sunday at church, or what you believe about in the religious or spiritual realm, has no bearing on the physical realm. It is like what scripture says, that they have a form of godliness but deny its power thereof (2 Timothy 3). But church is people who have the Spirit of the God living in them (Romans 8:9-11). Church is not where you go on Saturday or Sunday, a building on the corner of walk and don’t walk. The Spirit lives in a believer so he can make proper judgments about all things (1 Corinthians 2:14-16), and filters what comes to his mind based on what truth is by means of a dynamic relationship with the living God. He can take captive every thought and make it obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). A lost person can only relate in the physical realm through his human spirit that is dead to God. Allow the Holy Spirit Living in You to Renew Your Mind With Truth

In order to grow in Christ, we need to replace error with truth. But do we recognize the error? How would we if we are not spending time in God’s word relying on the Spirit of God living in us to teach us. A common mistake that hinders growth is relying on denominational persuasions on what truth is.

A common hindrance to growth is all the denominations not teaching truth. Listen as a caller asks a question concerning a church practice of home churches for today, as if that is the only way church structure should be done according to some people, that led into a conversation about the church being a mess today. The church is not a mess because of its organizational structure even though that brought about some of the mess. What good does it do where the whole church is doing the same thing? There is one denomination where the pastor looks alike and everybody looks alike, and that is not even the problem with the church.
