~ When a person places faith in Jesus, the Holy Spirit comes to live in side a true child of God and explain the meaning of things to them. If a person is still living under the law, then the Law has not done its job of leading a person to Christ. For the law condemns all people. Anyone trying to obey the law is said that they are under a curse. Cursed is everyone who does not do everything under the law. Galatians 3:10 Most people don’t have a clue what this means. They will try to be law keepers as if they think they can keep the law. But here is the thing, No one can keep the law perfectly all the time. And therefore, if any part of the law is broken, they are guilty of breaking all of the law. That kills and buries everyone. ~ Today there are people that spend their whole time trying to find contradictions in the bible. They will bring up different references from different points of view and say, “see there is a contradiction.” However, they are not looking at it from the proper perspective and no matter how much you tell a person that doesn’t have the Spirit of God living in them, they will simply want to not believe it. That is their choice not to believe in Jesus, God in the flesh, who came into the world to save sinners (of which we were all sinners to begin with). For Jesus went to a cross, to take upon the sins of the entire world from the beginning of time to the end of time. Because Jesus told us, “if they hate you it is because they hated me first.” By in-large, most people will not accept the things of God. Why? Because they love themselves more than they love God. They would rather listen to the teaching of men than listen to the teaching of the Holy Spirit. They love things of the world more than they love God. They love the praises of men, more than they love God. They love their education of the world, more than they love God. They refuse to come to the Spirit of Truth for truth, for All truth, and instead rely on their own understanding of things to make the determination of whether they are even saved or not. ~ In view of God’s mercy and love for us, we ought to love one another as he has loved us. How do we do that? By abiding in the Vine. For He is the vine and we are the branches. He wants us to simply be available to be used by Him. That is our proper worship and our daily sacrifice to Him. When a child of God is abiding in Him, the Holy Spirit will instruct us to do and say what the Spirit of God wants us to do and say. God is the one that will provide the fruit of the Spirit. ~ One of the biggest lies and misunderstandings of the gospel that is taught today, is the lie, that you come to Christ Jesus to get your sins forgiven. Satan has convinced the world that you come to Jesus, and then he forgives you your sins when you ask for it, or faith it. Another way of saying it, is most people don’t believe that Jesus died for everyone’s sins, only those that place faith in Jesus. So called grace teachers will teach this one point of Calvinism very subtlety. They won’t say that Jesus had limited atonement but they will indirectly say there is limited propitiation of sins only for the elect.
