Jesus Fulfilled The Law In Perfect Love

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P647 (07-01-21)

Synopsis

There are all kinds of people in this world, who go throw painful circumstances in life, sometimes they caused it themselves, as they were formerly lost and got trapped in sinful or even perverse behavior. But other times, you are the recipient of someone else’s sinful behavior such as a adultery, and so you have the right to file a divorce in such circumstances. Some women caught up in a situation like that incorrectly think they have to wait on the husband to file the divorce. That is simply not true. Listen as Bob George counsels this woman, who is notably upset, crying, and he asks her the probing questions to help her in making practical and wise decisions.

You will also run into people, who are blind and lost to spiritual things, and so they will throw out smokescreens, asking if you can prove to me where Cain’s wife came from or if Jonah was really in a whale? Such questions are irrelevant. A good question to ask such a person is this. You do not even know where my wife came from? Does that mean I am not married?… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

New Glorified Body for Christians

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P646 (06-25-21)

Synopsis

As you study the scriptures, hold onto those things that are true. Do not let more obscure passages lead you into confusion and error. Let us not forget that the goal of instruction is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. The only thing that counts is faith that expresses itself in love.

There are scriptures that are very clear, such as the gospel, that requires faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and nothing added to that, nothing that you do, but what God alone has done for you in Christ Jesus. Hold onto that truth, that in Christ Jesus, you are a forgiven person, and that you have eternal life because of the eternal consequence of the cross, with His righteousness imputed to you. You must have a firm grasp on such truth. Be single-minded on that, and do not be double-minded, mixing law and grace, or doubting that Jesus took away all your sins, thinking that He only took away some of your sins. Jesus took away all of your sins from the eyes of God before you were even born.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P645 (06-24-21)

Synopsis

It seems the message of the gospel, of proclaiming truth in Christ Jesus, has to be continually told because there are always new people born into this world, dead spiritually, and who are being raised by the same training centers that never get set aside or never stop speaking error, for they hold onto error, for they have never heard the truth themselves, or stopped to test all things with the word of God. Seminaries continue to put out the same teaching year after year.

And if that is not bad enough, more error gets added, more infiltrators get into those teaching centers called the modern church, and instead of teaching truth, they teach error, law mixed with grace at best. But whether it is speaking in tongues or tithes for today, error continues on. Then new errors get added it seems, if not spiritual formation, then critical race theory, or something else. It seems the battle for the souls of men gets harder day by day, as truth is being suppressed, not just by the church-house, which is heart-breaking itself, but by those in power and authority over us, by the government and social culture also.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus Will Set You Free

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P644 (06-18-21)

Synopsis

All of us need encouragement in this fallen world we live in. As Jesus warned us so many times, let no man deceive you. All of us have been deceived one time or another and are all subject to deception. Many of us grew up in some denomination or cult even, and some of us came to the knowledge of the truth. We came to realize God’s word is truth, and anything contrary to that is to be rejected as from men. Not all men are deliberately deceiving you. Many are simply passing on what they heard from others.

How grateful we are for those many people, the born again believers all over the world, who have understood God’s grace, the totality of the cross, of being made complete in Christ and salvation through receiving new life through the resurrection of Christ Jesus, who has offered all men the Holy Spirit to be placed in those who believe.

When we see another believer trapped in sin, what is our attitude toward them, knowing what God has done for us, and rescued us from, and we are all equal at the foot of the cross.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus Offers Life to the Dead

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P643 (06-17-21)

Synopsis

Revelation 1:3
Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.

Jesus promised a special blessing to those who read the book of Revelation, even aloud, and take to heart what is written. Yet many church leaders, sadly, have encouraged people to avoid Revelation. That should not be so, for Jesus specifically says otherwise. But realize that even the bible records that many things that are written will not be understood until the very end and the wise will understand and will instruct many. But do not fret over what you cannot understand right now. Yet there is a reason to study and learn prophecy, but it is not to cower in fear nor is it to get puffed up with pride with what you think you know and speculate about, and forget your purpose on earth. Do not let the study of prophecy keep you from living today in what God has specifically assigned you to be.

So we must keep our primary focus on what pleases God, in the life He wants to live in us today.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus is God the Word of God

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P642 (06-11-21)

Synopsis

A very common misunderstanding is the concept of confession and repentance of sin. A lot of erroneous thinking comes from denominational influences. Many of us grew up in a Catholic or a Protestant type of church, so you probably have heard people say you need to confess your sins to a priest or to God. But very few people have really checked into the word of God to see if what is being said is true or not. Take a look at what Jesus said prior to His ascension back to heaven while he walked on this earth for some forty days. He said He came to prove the world wrong about what they think sin is, of what people think they need to repent of.

John 16:7-11
7 But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. 8 When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: 9 about sin, because people do not believe in me; 10 about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; 11 and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.
