Classic Christianity – Freedom For Today – Part 2 – 01-27-26

~ Jesus Always does what the Father tells Him to do and Always says what the Father tells Him to say. He, God the Son, is also the Perfect Man of God, who showed us what life was like when in perfect obedience to the Father. Only God could do that. Once we understand the Truth of this, and realize that we who have the Holy Spirit living in us, can learn to abide in the Spirit as we grow in the knowledge of God Himself. So Jesus taught us about God, and also taught us about Man, as man was supposed to be. “The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His nature, upholding all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. Hebrews 1:3” Yet even his disciples had trouble understanding before they were indwelt by God themselves through the Holy Spirit. Here is prime example of Philip, one of his apostles not understanding that Jesus and the Father are One before the indwelling of the Holy Spirit:

Classic Christianity – Freedom For Today – Part 1 – 01-26-26

~ When a person believes in the Father, they Also believe in the Son. For the Father and the Son are One. Unbelief manifests itself in many many ways even today. There are those that say they believe in God, yet don’t believe in Jesus. Because Jesus is God in the flesh, and a person claiming they believe in God and not believing in Jesus is a sign they do NOT believe in God in the first place. And that is the sin that they will die in, if they remain in that state of unbelief. And because they refuse to trust Jesus as God, they will simply die in their unbelief that is made manifest in their other sins of disbelief. For example, if a person is not trusting in Jesus to have taken away all their sins at the cross, then they are simply saying, I don’t believe you God that you took them away, and thus they will die in their sin of unbelief. They are refusing the gift of God, and thus will die dead, in their sins. Be Sure to Enter His Sabbath Rest

~ “For if Joshua had given rest to them, He would not have spoken after this about another day. So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For the one having entered into His rest, he also rested from his works, as God did from the own. Therefore we should be diligent to enter into that rest, so that no one should fall by the same example of disobedience.” Hebrews 4:8-11

~ The writer of Hebrews here is saying, be sure to enter into the Sabbath Rest of Jesus. The Sabbath Rest of Jesus is accepting the fact that Jesus, God in flesh took away all your sins at the cross, and there is no more forgiveness being handed out for the asking. God is not a vending machine for forgiveness. He did it once for ALL sins for ALL people, for ALL Time. Put it to REST. That is the Sabbath Rest of God.

Going back to the sacrificial system, and not believing the Jesus, God in flesh took away all your sins at the cross is NOT trusting in what a person says they trust in, that Jesus forgave all their sins at the cross.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Absent From This Body and Present With the Lord

~ Therefore we are always confident, although we know that while we are at home in the body, we are away from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, then, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:6-8

~ When a child of God goes to sleep, for the very last time, on their last day, in this body of flesh and blood, we get our new physical/spiritual bodies immediately present with the Lord, that are in the same type of condition that Jesus’ body is in, flesh and bone. Don’t forget, when Jesus was raised from the dead, He had a physical body that could talk, could eat, could walk and do things, could be seen and touched by those still in the physical mortal bodies of flesh and blood. This was witnessed by many after His resurrection and before He went away to send the Holy Spirit for Life (for us) 50 days after the resurection. ~ The Body of Christ, His Spirit is in You and Me Who Are Born Again

~ God wants to use you and me as part of His church. He wants us to know that we are a part of His spiritual body, and as such we are here for each other, the rest of the body of Christ. When we abide in Him, He directs our paths on everything. Sometimes He wants to use us to teach others. Sometimes He wants us to comfort others who are hurting. Once you realize the TRUTH of the church, then that building on the corner of walk and don’t walk has no meaning whatsoever. It’s just a building built by human hands. Those that are still stuck in religion will defend their building however. And they will defend their identity too, based on where they think they are going to “church.” This is how you know these folks are brainwashed and in need of salvation themselves. Most have not heard the Truth of the gospel. Classic Christianity – We, The Church – Part 2 – 01-20-26

~ Jesus is the First Born of All Creation

~ This is key for us to understand that Jesus, God in flesh, was the first one ever born Alive with the Spirit of God in Him at physical birth. Adam and Eve were created by God, CREATED in the image of God, and had the Holy Spirit breathed into and living in them, until they sinned. Yet we were ALL born in the image of Adam, in a fallen condition, without the Spirit of God living in us. We needed to be born again of the Spirit of God. And that happens when a person places Faith in Jesus, God in flesh to have taken away all their sins at the cross, and He gives His Spirit for Life. So that all who are in Christ Jesus are part of the body of Christ, and He is the head.

~ “The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in Him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities.
