Are You Prepared? Or Are You Scared?

~ “If I was to title, what we’re going to be talking about today, I would have to say a good title for this is, are you prepared? or scared? Are you prepared? Or are you scared? Jesus said that in this world, you are going to have tribulation. But fear not I’ve overcome the world fair not I’ve overcome the world. It isn’t, if we are going to have tribulation, it’s when are you going to have tribulation. Each and every one of us sitting in this room is going to face one tribulation or possibly two, for sure. If you’ve never had any other tribulation in your life, you’re going to face death, or rapture, I think death is probably going to come before rapture. But you’re going to face one of those two, when you are going to find yourself absent from the body, and either present with the Lord or present with the devil, one of those two, because there’s nothing in between. And so in this world, you’re going to have tribulation. But that’s tribulation. For many of us. How Can We Be Righteous Before God? Only By Faith in Jesus, the One Who is Righteous.

~ “But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 6:21-23

~ “And God says, Wait a minute, you missed the purpose. I showed you these things in order to show you your total inability to ever live up to that law. And also to tell you very clearly, that even if you did, you’d never be declared righteous in my sight through obedience to the law, that righteousness is going to have to be imputed to you declared to you.

Now it says in verse 21, but now a righteousness from God, apart from the law has been made known to which the law and the prophets testify. ~ “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love” 1 John 4:18

“I can tell you where your anger comes from. Anger comes from fear. And anger is a secondary response to fear. And men don’t like to admit they’re fearful. So they just take it up and angry. They don’t mind saying I’m angry. But anger is just a sign of the fears that are within you. It could be the fear of again, of not being able to stay sober. Fear of not being able to live the kind of life you want to live, fear of people finding out what’s really going on under the skin. There’s a lot of things that we live in fear. And there’s only one solution. And I say that very emphatically one and one alone, one solution to fear. And that’s the perfect love of God perfect love casts away all fear, not some fear, but all of it. ~ There are so many people today that are living a life of a lie. They believe that their church attendance can save them. They believe their church affiliation can save them. They believe that if they continue to ask for forgiveness (either in a confession booth or a virtual confession booth talking directly to God), that can save them. Catholics and Protestants alike are believing the ongoing lies of Satan. Satan goes out of his way to take the focus off of Christ Jesus and put the focus on something else. And that focus manifests itself on self. But here is the thing folks, only by accepting the completed forgiveness on the cross by Jesus, God in the flesh, for YOUR sins (all your sins that you have ever done or will do), and placing faith in Him for what He did for you, and then His life that raised Him from the dead is the same life that raises us from spiritual death at the very moment we place faith in Him. Do You Understand What the Word of God Means?

Sometimes as a Christian, we can get frustrated with others or even angry that others do not understand the Word of God as it relates to their living or wanting to do things that are contradictory to the clear teaching of the word of God. Many times, people that we think (assume) are Christians are not Christians, and that is why they do not understand the word of God. They have not been sanctified by the Truth yet. They are not born again believers in Christ Jesus.

Now from our standpoint (those of us who are born again) we get angry with some of those that we may be very close to, and it is because of the fear that creeps into our own being. We react in fear, and lash out in anger, even if it is held inside ourselves when someone doesn’t get what you yourself know is Truth. So, if you see a person that doesn’t understand the word of God, instead of getting angry inside, share Truth with them.
