~ Today, many of the believers in Christ have gotten on the world’s bandwagon, and are believing the lies of Satan left and right. If you can not see that by now, then maybe you don’t have the Spirit of God living in you. Cement that first, and place faith in Jesus, God in the flesh, who took away all your sins on the cross. Thank him for what he did for you, and you will immediately receive the Holy Spirit for Life. From there, the world of lies will be exposed to you too. ~ Don’t listen to anyone that says, “the atoning death of Jesus,” because that is a lie. Jesus did NOT atone for sins. Jesus took away all sins at the cross. The two are completely different meanings to the words in the Greek. Thank Jesus For What He Did at the Cross!

~ We ought to thank Jesus for the forgiveness he provided at the cross for us. If we are still asking for forgiveness to God, then we are not resting in His forgiveness. We in essence are saying, I don’t believe my sins were forgiven at the cross. Some are doing this because they don’t know any better. Others are doing it out of a prideful heart. They think their forgiveness is higher than God’s forgiveness. Jesus said it is finished. Everything was taken care of at the cross. There is nothing more for anyone to do. When a person realizes the TRUTH they say Thank you to God. Thanking him is our true confession of faith. Thanking him is the same meaning as Confess in the Greek word for Confess used in the Bible. Asking for forgiveness is the complete opposite of faith. Faith always says thank you.

In Christ Jesus, You Have Eternal Life!

~ There are those that teach, that at some point in the future, you “get” eternal life. This is one of the reasons that many people believe they can lose eternal life, is because they don’t believe they have eternal life yet. They gloss over the scriptures, believing in the teaching of man instead of the word of God. They think salvation is getting their sins forgiven, and having them constantly forgiven their whole lives, thus if they do some sin (they can never tell you what that sin is), just that it will cause a person to lose eternal life. So because eternal life is some sort of future event, they see it as something they might not get if they upset God so to speak. It’s important that we understand the schemes of the devil. He has inverted the meaning of the words of God. He has taken things, that should be obvious to those who are truly in Christ and made them be something entirely different in meaning.

And People Ask, “Well, What About 1 John 1:9?”

~ If a person is not being asked the question about the 1 John 1:9 passage of scripture, you can bet they are not preaching the gospel of Christ Jesus. And the reason people do indeed ask about that verse of scripture is because the overwhelming majority camp on a wrong interpretation of the word of God in regards to 1 John 1:9. The Greek word for Confess means to agree with God concerning your sins. What is it to agree with God? That God was in Christ Jesus reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting your sins against you or me, or anyone in the world. We rest in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. We are not to keep placing him back up there and calling God a liar, saying to him, “I don’t believe you died for all of my sins, and certainly you must not have really died for the sins of the whole world.” That is the mentality of people today.
