Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Reality of The Resurrection P12 (12-13-21)
God Makes a Believer a New Creation in Christ Jesus
God made man to be indwelt by God. He did not make man to be separated from God, but to have the Holy Spirit giving life to us. For when we come to Jesus, God in flesh, and place faith in Him, he exchanges our dead self and gives us His exchanged life in us. So that, it is no longer I that live but Christ (the one that gives life) lives in me.
Now we should realize and be basking in the fact that Jesus has taken all our sins away on the cross. All our sins were judged on the cross and the verdict was death. The wages of sin is death. It was not out of fellowship, but death!
But now, in Christ Jesus we have Life!
Galatians 2:20 20 “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Word of God P19 (03-22-21)
Authority was given to the apostles, those who were with Jesus from the beginning, since the baptism of John, identifying Jesus of Nazareth as the promised Messiah, with Jesus at His death, burial and resurrection, and at His ascension back into heaven, with the promise to see Him again physically, in a period of time called the millennial reign of Christ on this earth. We learned about the Old Testament prophets, what they said concerning the word of God, with over 300 prophecies that were all fulfilled in one person, Jesus Christ. Isaiah prophesied of a person coming, of a voice crying in the wilderness, to prepare the way of the Lord. This man was John the Baptist, the last Old Testament prophet. Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P488 (11-01-19)
Several callers asked common questions that people wrestle with today. How should I pray? Should I continually ask God for something over and over again? Should you wait and just trust God to work? How do I share the word of God, the gospel with my friends? Should I just let my actions speak louder than my words? What about persevering to the end? Is that what believers have to do to be sure they are saved? Is abortion sin? What if I am a believer and I have committed that sin? What do I do now?
Bob shares truth from scripture to help these callers in the situation they have found themselves. There is no sin that you and I as believers cannot commit. Like all of us, when we are ashamed of our sin, we want to hide, possibly out of fear of how others will respond to that sin. It is so important for us to recognize that those sins we commit, and will commit, had been placed on the back of God never to see them again, from His standpoint. He came to give you life. … Listen to Broadcast & Read More
