Law Shows Your Sin

Classic Christianity – Book of Galatians P3 (07-31-24)

The Gospel of Christ Has Been Perverted Today Big Time

~ “I am amazed that so quickly you are deserting from the One having called you in the grace of Christ to another gospel, which is not another, except there are some who are troubling you and are desiring to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel out of heaven should preach a gospel to you contrary to what we proclaimed to you, let him be accursed! As we have said before, even now I say again: If anyone is preaching a gospel to you contrary to what you received, let him be accursed!” Galatians 1:7-9

Nothing has changed today. Things have actually gotten much much worse. Most of the so called Christian world today believes and listens to teachers that their itching ears want to hear, and are listening to a perverted gospel message, which is no gospel at all. And most people think nothing of it. They are content to sit in their pews on a Sunday, or Saturday, or whatever day of the week, and listen to some pastor or priest teach lies … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Woe to Teachers of the Law

Classic Christianity – Book of Galatians P2 (07-30-24)

The Apostle Paul’s Matter-of-Fact Message to the Galatians

~ Folks, when Paul wrote the message to the churches in Galatia, he was as subtle as a meat cleaver. Which is to say, he told it like it is, and didn’t pull any punches. There are some today that get so bent out of shape when you tell them things matter-of-factly, that they will say things like, “that is not being very loving” as though Not telling Truth is somehow more loving. How much sense does that make to not tell the truth, or to beat around the bush, or to be so watered down in what a person says, that the reader can take it to mean many different things any way they want to believe, instead of being told exactly as it is? Jesus told things as it is, and because of that the Edomites had Him killed on a cross. Jesus called these Edomites, being of their father the devil. They were NOT of the tribe of Judah, nor were they Hebrews or Israelites. They were infiltrators, just like today we have infiltrators in the church and great pretenders in … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Letter to the Galatians

Classic Christianity – Book of Galatians P1 (07-29-24)

Welcome to The Study of the Book of Galatians

~ Join us as we begin our study on the letter to the Galatians. The letter to the Galatians, was written by the Apostle Paul and sent to the churches in the providence of Galatia. This letter would have been read by people in those churches, not buildings, but churches (believers who met together in homes), and were learning more about Jesus and the Truth of the New Covenant we live in today and understanding the difference between law and grace. And Paul, a straight shooter, tells it like it is, unlike most people today who are timid of telling it like it is. And when there is a troubling issue going on in the early church, he doesn’t mince words. He tells them as clear as day as to what is going on. And it has to do with the key message of Law and Grace.

Today, most have fallen under Satan’s spell of not wanting to rock the boat so-to-speak, and yet most churches are preaching another gospel message which is no gospel at all, exactly as Satan’s wants. And people … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Jesus Sets us Apart

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Word of God P32 (04-20-21)

Synopsis

With the word of God, and the Spirit of God living in us, knowing the totality of the cross, the reality of the resurrection, and the fullness of what Christ did for us in all of that, regardless of whatever shortcomings there are in translations, you can know the meaning of the scriptures, and so much difficulty in understanding soon disappears. You come to realize that the word of God is divinely inspired, written down through the personalities of men, through the prophets and apostles, but with the full meaning of what God wanted to express to us, that we may put our faith in Him and have eternal life, the abundant life He promised us.

These men, whom God appointed and raised up for that purpose, prior to the foundation of the world, wrote down what God said to them. When the Holy Spirit came at Pentecost, to indwell the apostles forever, the Holy Spirit brought back to their remembrance, to the apostles, who were eyewitnesses of His death, burial and resurrection, of all that they had seen and heard, that God wanted them to … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Jesus Promised the Holy Spirit

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Word of God P20 (03-23-21)

Synopsis

In order to be an apostle, you had to be someone who was with Jesus in the beginning, a witness of His baptism, death, burial and resurrection and ascension into heaven. Those were the men Jesus called apostles and gave the authority to represent Him here on earth initially, with the proclamation of the gospel, and then to select some of them to be writers of the New Testament. Those who wrote, wrote down what the Spirit of God living in them revealed as only what He wanted them to say.

Then we have the apostle Paul, the last of the apostles, almost too late for that, having not witnessed the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus, but was appointed by God to be an apostle to the Gentiles. But He did have direct revelation from God and His message was affirmed by the apostles as of equal authority as their writings. Paul even testified that what was revealed to him, the message, was revealed directly to him by God (Galatians 1:12). That would not have any meaning without having been confirmed by the other … Listen to Broadcast & Read More
