If You Believe You Can Lose Salvation, Are You Saved?

First off, we have to share what the bible shares as truth. No one can earn their salvation. Jesus did not die for the righteous, for there are none. Jesus died for the forgiveness of the sins of the whole world. While we were all still sinners, Jesus died for us then, so that He could come and live in us now when we accept Him by faith. Salvation is not getting your sins forgiven. Salvation is eternal life in Christ Jesus. So the moment you receive Jesus as God in the flesh, and accept (believe in) what He did for you on the cross, you have His eternal life living in you. It is not something you can earn or work your way towards. So, how could you lose something that only God could give you, eternal life?

Jesus Forgave You of All of Your Sins on The Cross. Do You Believe That?

We hear so many times, a mixed message gospel, which is no gospel at all. Many pastors and teachers will tell people all their sins are forgiven by Jesus, and then they will tell people to ask for forgiveness from God at the end of a prayer or as a summation. What people fail to realize is they are subjecting Jesus Christ to public disgrace. They are crucifying the Son of God over and over again as though the first time wasn’t good enough. They are not living by faith. Faith says thank you (confess) to God. Unbelief is asking for what God has already done.

Hebrews 6:4-6
⁴ It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, ⁵ who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age ⁶ and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. So many people today think that they were righteous in the sight of God before they had the Righteousness of Christ Jesus living in them. We get it in our minds that we were righteous, and simply need forgiven from time to time in order to stay righteous. Folks, that teaching is from the pit of hell. We never had righteousness before we received the righteousness of God.

Jesus Forgave the Sins of The Whole World

Because we are so preoccupied with trying to keep ourselves clean, and religion throws that in our faces too, that we fail to realize the truth of the word of God. We discount His word and think to ourselves, that God really didn’t die for the sins of the whole world. You hear this type of teaching all over the place today. It doesn’t matter whether a person is a Catholic or a Protestant, both teach the error of ongoing forgiveness. They are not teaching the New Covenant and don’t even understand the New Covenant to begin with. They change the meaning of the word of God to something else.

For True Believers, Jesus is In Us When The Trials & Tribulations of Life Hit Us

For born again believers, Christ lives in us, and when the trials and tribulations of life come upon us, and they will, we can be sure that the God that saves us is the same God that sustains us. In life, we will experience the loss of loved ones, possibly financial hardships, health issues, and face other things in our lives that will be difficult to go through at the time. But we are told that nothing can separate us from the love of God. He will be right there with us and in us to sustain us through these things in life.
