I have a question about tithing to the church? I asked about about distribution of funds, and they said they were buying uniforms for students in the public schools. That is like Paul buying togas for senators in the forum. Paul did take money for Asia minor to take back to Jerusalem. Is there any guidelines as to what churches should use money for. I thought it was for the advancement of Christianity. In today’s world, you have to be very careful and know where your money is going. Did not give blindly? Over 40% of men in southern baptist churches are masons, a religion of the anti-Christ, known as the chief architect of the universe, or Satan. In the past, tithing money went to fund the building of mosques, and very well could be still today. So many preach tithing, and when they do, it also done using manipulation or guilt. There are so many that teach out of Malachi, saying you are robbing God. There are so many wolves in sheep’s clothing today, and people with very little discernment. Do not be deceived into tithing. The practical issues people struggle with today are answered with the message of the totality of the cross, of being made complete in Christ by believing the complete message of the gospel. There are questions that people in church ask, such as what about the unpardonable sin or falling away after hearing truth, as in an improper understanding of Hebrews, where people think they can lose salvation. Truth is so important to grab a hold of so you can walk in the way God intended. On today’s program, two callers called, that highlight how when truth is not understood or grasped, you are unable to walk in the new life God has given you. There are those people who will not think it worthwhile to hold onto truth, and have been deceived by the thinking of the world, and are lost. Sometimes people call in on behalf of a son or daughter or granddaughter who has been ensnared, and are asking for counsel in how to reach their loved ones with truth. Then there are those who have not quite grasped what salvation is, and because of their faulty thinking, such as the fear of losing salvation, they are unable to walk in true freedom. Although many people, among the Jews, rejected the message of the gospel, a remnant was saved. Many Jews did reject Christ Jesus as the Messiah. However, there is always a remnant that are willing to listen. The first people who came to Christ were Jewish people. Thousands heard the preaching of the apostle Peter, and the other apostles, and were saved. There are those who will have humble hearts, who will hear, believe and be saved.
Today, it seems, not many people want to listen to truth. Many people’s minds are made up, and do not realize the errors they have believed. They would rather hold on to their denominational belief system, but not test it out with the word of God to see if what is said is true. Few will even open a bible up to read it. I encourage you to read your bible, not to gather information, but to get to know the author, who is God. As you read, ask the Holy Spirit to explain to you the meaning of it. Learn to ask questions of God.
