Throw Off The Sin of Unbelief, The Sin That so Easily Entangles

~ In chapter 11 of the Book of Hebrews, we have been given the examples of faith in that chapter. And we are quick to discount what faith really is. We have actually forgotten that faith is responding properly to truth. God has given us truth at each point along the way and it is culminated with the Spirit of Truth living in each and every believer. Yet we are quick to even discount the Holy Spirit and end up not trusting Him for truth either. We tend to allow our flesh to guide us instead of the Spirit of God. And therein lies the problem. For Satan wants us to focus on our flesh and the teaching of men instead of the word of God. We need to start trusting in God to explain the word of God to each of us and what it means. It’s so important to remember that it requires the Holy Spirit to explain the meaning of the word of God to us today.

Jesus, The Creator of All Things, is Superior to The Angels

~ We are still in the first chapter of the Book of Hebrews, and as we have mentioned in the past, details matter on everything. The angels got to witness creation. We learn that through other areas of scripture. The angels were created by Jesus to begin with, and they were present at the time of God creating everything else into existence. And we know that Jesus Himself is the Creator of everything seen and unseen. We need to understand that Jesus, was always God to begin with and still is God. Jesus, God became flesh, and dwelt among man, and know this Jesus will return again to walk among Man again someday. In the meantime, God sent His Spirit, the Holy Spirit to live in each and every believer in Christ Jesus. Jesus is the only solution to everything we have going wrong in the world today. Many people think that Man can solve man’s problems, but that isn’t so. How many times do we need to see that “no one is good, no NOT one?” God tells us that in his word, but do we really believe it? Most do not believe it and certainly do NOT place faith in that from the word of God. You can tell it by their actions. They constantly promote Man above God. They trust in their own understanding of things. They trust that some person out there is going to come along and save them from this world (or at least in America) we live in. ~ Teaching the truth about Jesus and forgiveness will get you thrown out of churches today. Why? Because Jesus told us, “if they hate you it is because they hated me first.” By in-large, most people will not accept the things of God. Why? Because they love themselves more than they love God. They would rather listen to the teaching of men than listen to the teaching of the Holy Spirit. They love things of the world more than they love God. They love the praises of men, more than they love God. They love their education of the world, more than they love God. They refuse to come to the Spirit of Truth for truth, for All truth, and instead rely on their own understanding of things to make the determination of whether they are even saved or not. ~ In view of God’s mercy and love for us, we ought to love one another as he has loved us. How do we do that? By abiding in the Vine. For He is the vine and we are the branches. He wants us to simply be available to be used by Him. That is our proper worship and our daily sacrifice to Him. When a child of God is abiding in Him, the Holy Spirit will instruct us to do and say what the Spirit of God wants us to do and say. God is the one that will provide the fruit of the Spirit. We can’t do any of it ourselves, but only He can do all of it. You Come to Christ Jesus Because Your Sins Are Already Forgiven at The Cross

~ One of the biggest lies and misunderstandings of the gospel that is taught today, is the lie, that you come to Christ Jesus to get your sins forgiven. Satan has convinced the world that you come to Jesus, and then he forgives you your sins when you ask for it, or faith it. Another way of saying it, is most people don’t believe that Jesus died for everyone’s sins, only those that place faith in Jesus. So called grace teachers will teach this one point of Calvinism very subtlety. They won’t say that Jesus had limited atonement but they will indirectly say there is limited propitiation of sins only for the elect.
