Synopsis
It is so easy to assume someone is a believer. They go to church. They talk the talk. They pray. They sure act like one. They are even nice-sounding people. But the truth of the matter is the only person who really knows is the individual himself and God. But we can do ourselves or someone else a disservice by not asking probing questions about what truth is. We could also just assume they think just like us, and know what we know. But what if we also do not know the truth. Do we really simply want people to know what we know?
We may know Jesus is God, that he died, was buried and rose again and we even know about the Trinity, and believe that to be true. But does that necessarily mean that we know God? Does that mean we understand what it means to be born again? I may have even heard the phrase born again, but it might have a totally different connotation of meaning to me than what God really intended me to understand and know.
