Jesus Promised the Holy Spirit

Classic Christianity – Unless I Go Away – 5-11-26

~ Now, however, I am going to Him who sent Me; yet none of you asks Me, ‘Where are You going?’ Instead, your hearts are filled with sorrow because I have told you these things. But I tell you the truth, it is for your benefit that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocatea will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.

And when He comes, He will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: in regard to sin, because they do not believe in Me; in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will no longer see Me; and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world has been condemned. Jesus Wants His Love to Flow Through Us

Classic Christianity – Freedom in Dependency – Part 3 – 5-06-26

~ There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. The one who fears has not been perfected in love. 1 John 4:18

~ When we are abiding in the Love of God, our fears are driven out of us. Why? Because His perfect Love lives in and through us. He is the one who is driving out the fear from us. He is setting the record straight. For when a person is in Christ Jesus, His Spirit is communicating to our spirit that Everything is going to be okay. Those who are in Christ Jesus have experienced the perfect Love of God, when we are going through difficult situations, and we hear the Spirit tell us, everything is going to work out for your good. And as we look back in our own lives, we can see that has indeed been the case. And make no mistake about it, the hand of God has been in your life since day one. He knew us before we knew Him. Look back, and you can see His hand of protection upon you. Jesus is the Message of Grace and Truth

~ But when He, the Spirit of truth, shall come, He will guide you⁺ into all the truth. For He will not speak from Himself, but whatever He may hear, He will speak. And He will declare to you the things coming. John 16:13

~ Learn to listen to the Holy Spirit for ALL TRUTH. For He, the Holy Spirit is the one that shares Truth with our spirit. He is talking to us ALL the time. He is our Teacher of God. He teaches us the Truth about Jesus. He teaches us the Truth about the world in which we live. And He teaches us of the Truth of prophecy fulfilled. And He teaches of what is soon to take place. He is the one who explains the meaning of the Word of God to us too. We are to abide in Him, for He is the one that trains us in ALL things. Nothing is as it seems today. And we should all be like children, and inquiring of God to have the lies exposed and to not lean on our own understanding of anything today. What is True Biblical Confession?

~ “that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:19

The core meaning of biblical confession is to agree with God, NOT to ask for forgiveness. This understanding is rooted in the Greek word for confession, homologeō, which literally means “to say the same thing as another” or “to assent.”

Key Tenets of Biblical Confession

  • Agreement, Not Petition: Confession is an act of agreeing with God about a situation, primarily acknowledging the reality of one’s sin and, more importantly, acknowledging the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
  • Total Forgiveness: Because of Christ’s sacrifice, forgiveness for all sins (past, present, and future) is a complete and established fact by God Himself. Asking for forgiveness is viewed as undermining the sufficiency of that single, finished work. We are to Thank Him for that forgiveness that was provided at the cross.
  • Interpretation of 1 John 1:9: The passage “If we confess our sins…” is not interpreted as a conditional if that must be met for God to grant forgiveness.

Jesus is Looking For Truth Tellers

Classic Christianity – Truth in Opposition – 2-25-26

~ The apostle Paul told it like it is. He did not beat around the bush. Obviously someone had bewitched the Galatians into believing lies. And that is also true for us today. For there is much opposition to TRUTH in the world of so-called Christianity, which should be a clue that something is way out of whack. The very foundation that is taught in seminaries is a lie. Something is wrong with even church historians, because the lies were taught there too. And everyone who has been to seminary training has been brainwashed by these lies. So, one has to wonder, what the heck is going on? How in the world did we get so far off the tracks of TRUTH and believe the lies of satan? Why is it that there is so much opposition to the Truth that ALL your sins were forgiven at the cross? Why is it that most don’t want to hear the Truth of the word of God that it is finished? Jesus Sets You Apart as The Temple of God

Worship Jesus Only, NOT Man

~ The wise men, the Magi, bowed down and worshiped Jesus. The Magi knew who Jesus was. They knew the scriptures. They knew, the little boy Jesus that they were in front of was God in flesh, for they bowed down in total submission and worshiped him. And the Magi further exercised more faith when being warned in a dream NOT to go back to Herod, they instead went to their homeland through another route. They obey God, not Man.

Today, our worship is when we offer our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, because Jesus lives in the temple of God, the body of the child of God, and to offer our bodies is our true and proper worship.

But many today are not offering their bodies as a living sacrifice. And many times, the reason is they themselves are not saved, and do not have the Holy Spirit living in them. They have believed in the teaching of man rather than the teaching of God. They don’t believe their sins were forgiven at the cross. They instead believe in a different Jesus.
