He offers real answers to real problems with truth from God’s word. The first caller, Niles, is a father with six children, struggling in his marriage. Bob asked several questions to help him discern whether his wife is a born again believer. He gave practical advice in either case. If she is not born again, then he is unequally yoked and she does not have the ability to discern the things of God nor would she be inclined to do so. But, if both are believers, then as the leader of the home, he can approach his wife and appeal to her to study the scriptures together to get God’s wisdom, to ask God what he thinks about the subject of contention. So, it would no longer be about what I think or she thinks but what God thinks! The second caller, Beth, asked Bob if she does not go to a local church, then is she sinning. The first caller, Todd, through listening to Bob and through reading the word of God on his own, has called to express what he discovered is erroneous teaching in the church he is a member. He called to get Bob’s feedback on what he has been learning in regards to the false teaching of the necessity to confess sin to remain in fellowship with God. The second caller, Dennis, called to thank Bob for helping him understand truth that allowed to him have joy again in living the new life in Christ. Legalism had robbed him of joy. Bob shared some instruction on how legalism feeds depression, and legalism comes from mixing law and grace. He spoke such encouraging words to Dennis. He briefly retells the story with the primary focus on walking in the Spirit and being led of the Lord. He also shares the interaction between Jesus and His disciples, following Jesus return from talking with the Samaritan woman. He shares more fully about what it means to walk in Spirit and in truth, what it means to seek God and what is a believer’s reasonable act of service. He shares several examples of walking in the flesh from his observation of the religious world. He then shares a testimony of his early childhood and later coming to know Christ. He shares the tendency of all believers to have doubts and to be discouraged in their walk or in sharing truth. But one must realize you are believing a lie, as Satan does not want you to finish the race. Yet, God is at work to develop the believer. Bob George RadioBob George, with over 30 years on People to People radio, reaches out to many callers, offering real answers to real issues today. The callers today were asking questions because they desired to mature in Christ. The callers asked questions mostly out of a desire to grow in Christ in order to help a friend or neighbor. Others, having respect for Bob’s unique gift in explaining the meaning of God’s word, wanted to receive clarification of truth they were struggling with. Another caller thanked Bob for truth he had shared with him in previous interaction with Bob that helped him overcome depression. What a joy it is to hear when someone shares how applying truth and wisdom from God’s word had changed their life, walking in new freedom and joy in the Spirit!

Ricky asked can unusual question, mostly out of his excitement from reading Revelation and prophecy, but he was incorrectly reading more into scripture than warranted that seemed to pull him into a direction of being unproductive and unfruitful in the things of the Lord.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
