~ Pride is a factor that can easily be exploited in any one of us. Pride lives in our flesh. Pride says, “I want to be number one.” It’s the same thing that is coveting. In fact, it’s the one sin that is hardly ever mentioned by any pastors and teachers today. And the reason is, because we all covet. And those who are in Christ Jesus can see it rear its ugly head in themselves and it is quite obvious in others. The self righteous people proudly say, “I’ve repented of all my sins.” No they haven’t. They haven’t repented of the sin of lying or coveting. No one has ever repented of all of their sins. And those that think they have, are proud of their acting like they have. For it puffs them up. “Look how good I am God. Look at me, I don’t do this or I don’t do that.” These people are only fooling themselves. They are lying to themselves and others. They are not walking in Truth. So many times, we have seen people that think they know it all. They have been to all the top schools. They have a PhD in this subject or that subject. They slap DOCTOR on their door, Dr. so and so. They introduce themselves as Doctor wherever they go and to whoever they are speaking to. Jesus, The Creator of All Things, is Superior to The Angels

~ We are still in the first chapter of the Book of Hebrews, and as we have mentioned in the past, details matter on everything. The angels got to witness creation. We learn that through other areas of scripture. The angels were created by Jesus to begin with, and they were present at the time of God creating everything else into existence. And we know that Jesus Himself is the Creator of everything seen and unseen. We need to understand that Jesus, was always God to begin with and still is God. Jesus, God became flesh, and dwelt among man, and know this Jesus will return again to walk among Man again someday. In the meantime, God sent His Spirit, the Holy Spirit to live in each and every believer in Christ Jesus. Are You Born Again of The Holy Spirit? Understanding the New Covenant

So many people today want to argue with the truth about the New Covenant. They still act like they are living under an old Covenant, and they will get mad as a hornet if you try and share the truth of the New Covenant with them. They will argue till they are blue in the face, justifying their own belief system and remain in error.

A person must be born again of the Holy Spirit of God in order to be saved. Salvation is Life, the Life of Jesus, through the Holy Spirit coming to live in a person when they receive Jesus, God in flesh and what He did on the cross for them by faith. This is not faith in your faith, but faith in Jesus and His finished work on the cross for you.

There is one thing in Matthew that Jesus emphasized more than anything else. He said to not let any man deceive you? Are you growing in discernment? Have you discerned, first of all, that you are a child of God. One way to know that is to be intellectually honest with yourself, and ask, “What are the attitudes of my heart?”, “What are the motives of my heart?”, “Why did I come to Christ?”, or “What did I believe when I came to Christ?” We are told in scripture to test and see if you are in the faith. Did what I believe agree with what the gospel is as revealed in the scriptures? Or, do the things of God sound like foolishness to me?
