If You Are In Christ Jesus, You Have The Mind of Christ Living in You ~ Abide in Him

~ “For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” ^{1 Corinthians 2:16}

~ “You don’t have to get all engrossed in the things of the world. Because the things of the world are going to continue going downhill, unless it’s got leaders who are in Christ Jesus, and who listen to the leading and the teaching of the Holy Spirit of God that lives in us.

And so we have to understand the truth of these things. That we are privileged above all people, to have an ability to plug in to truth, and to be set free with it. Instead of listening to the gobbly gook of the world, that is constantly deceiving people in one form or another. Advertising is nothing but a lure with a hook in it. ~ Chip: “Hey, a little quick background on me. Before I get to my question, I started listening to you back in 1993. And before that, I’ve been in Christ for about about four years. And I remember being so sincere in my faith, and I was just really living the Christian life in my own flesh and the energy of my own flesh. For example, I just remember memorizing about 300 Bible passages, and I really thought I was hot stuff. But the problem was, I didn’t have any an idea or understanding about what the New Covenant was. So I was just utterly confused about what they really meant. For example, I memorize a sin on the mountain really tried to learn how to live righteously. And in the Sermon on the Mount. Baptism of the Holy Spirit is by God ~ He Baptizes You into the Body of Christ Jesus

~ Jesus said, “I baptize you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.” Mark 1:8

When a person becomes born again of the Holy Spirit of God, by faith in Jesus, God in the flesh and what He did on the cross for you personally, having completely forgiven you, the Holy Spirit baptizes (places you into) you into the body of Christ. You are now a new creature in Christ Jesus.

Do You Understand What the Word of God Means?

Sometimes as a Christian, we can get frustrated with others or even angry that others do not understand the Word of God as it relates to their living or wanting to do things that are contradictory to the clear teaching of the word of God. Many times, people that we think (assume) are Christians are not Christians, and that is why they do not understand the word of God. They have not been sanctified by the Truth yet. They are not born again believers in Christ Jesus.

Now from our standpoint (those of us who are born again) we get angry with some of those that we may be very close to, and it is because of the fear that creeps into our own being. We react in fear, and lash out in anger, even if it is held inside ourselves when someone doesn’t get what you yourself know is Truth. So, if you see a person that doesn’t understand the word of God, instead of getting angry inside, share Truth with them. Don’t assume a person is saved, for God wants everyone to come to repentance and to come to faith in Him, and so there is an opportunity presented to us.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Jesus Said it is Finished!

There are so many times where only a portion of the gospel is given today, or simply a piece of truth and not the whole truth. People hear that their sins are forgiven, but if they do this or do that they can get more forgiveness by God. Even the scriptures are taught out of context, to the point that most people do not rightly divide truth. So it is with forgiveness. Jesus said it is finished, everything He did on the cross, and when He comes again, He is not coming to deal with sin again.
