He offers real answers to real problems with truth from God’s word. The first caller, Niles, is a father with six children, struggling in his marriage. Bob asked several questions to help him discern whether his wife is a born again believer. He gave practical advice in either case. If she is not born again, then he is unequally yoked and she does not have the ability to discern the things of God nor would she be inclined to do so. But, if both are believers, then as the leader of the home, he can approach his wife and appeal to her to study the scriptures together to get God’s wisdom, to ask God what he thinks about the subject of contention. Join Bob George as he takes calls from listeners on the original People to People radio program for over 30 years. Tedd called to ask about if it was okay to date a girl who is in Catholic Church and he belongs to a different Church. Bob answers by addressing Tedd’s lack of time reading God’s word and not knowing the scriptures. Someone who is a child of God will grow as they read and ponder over God’s word letting the Holy Spirit teach him. But, in case Tedd did not know the Lord, Bob explained the simple gospel message. He then provided a practical suggestion to help both him and his girlfriend to hear truth from scriptures. The second caller, Dale, heard a sermon by a preacher that cited Luke 15 as scripture supporting the concept of a believer being able to be in and out of fellowship with God. Although the caller did not agree with the pastor, he wanted clarification from Bob on the meaning of Luke 15. Bob graciously answered by explaining a common problem in people applying scripture by determining truth from human experience. Introduction to the Book of John

Bob George TeachingBob George continues discussing the complete forgiveness and unconditional love of Jesus Christ through the book of John. First, though he begins with a review of biblical interpretation. From 2 Timothy 3:16, he provides a framework of understanding what is meant by scriptures as being inspired by God. He explains that the original manuscripts are inspired and scriptures we have today are translations. Although translations are not inspired, they are translated from God’s inspired word of God into languages known by the reader. In particular, the Septuagint, a translation of the Old Testament Hebrew into Greek, often quoted by Jesus, is a trustworthy translation. Other translations exist today, and we have many in the English language so we can read in our own language.

Complete Forgiveness and Unconditional Love of Jesus Christ

Bob George TeachingBob George is speaking on the subject of the complete forgiveness and unconditional love of Jesus Christ. Hebrews 7:27, 9:12, 14-16, 10:10, Galatians 3:10, 6:13-14; 1 Peter 3:21; Romans 5:9-10, 6:23, 10:9-10; Ephesians 1:7; 2 Corinthians 5:19 and 1 John 5:12 are scriptures he shares from God’s word. He addresses common misunderstandings of what was accomplished when Jesus died on the cross and how one is saved from eternal death and given new life.

If you are still under law, then you are under a curse (Galatians 3:10). The law states that cursed is everyone who does not continue to obey all that is written in the law (Galatians 3:10). So relying on circumcision or baptism or any other law cannot save anyone (Galatians 6:13-14, 1 Peter 3:21, Romans 6:23a). He points people to the solution for sin in Jesus Christ (Romans 6:23b). In him we have redemption, the forgiveness of sin (Ephesians 1:7). Jesus became a curse for us (Galatians 3:13). Jesus really did take away the sins of the world (John 1:29) eternally for everyone when he died on the cross (Hebrews 7:27, 9:12, 10:10) but that does not mean everyone is saved.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
