Bob shares from Luke 2 and Matthew 2. When one reads the wickedness of King Herod and the murder of children 2 years old and younger, Bob answers the question many have asked, “Where is God in all this?” Bob answers by explaining the choice God made in making mankind with free will. He explains how God sent Jesus to redeem mankind after he used his free will to choose to be independent and rebellious to God, the same attitude in Satan whom God cast out of heaven. Yet fallen man also has the choice to choose God’s provision in Jesus Christ. Even then free will is not removed. Bob George TeachingBob George continues sharing from the book of John about what the life of Jesus Christ is all about. He reiterates some points he spoke yesterday, comparing and contrasting the natural man with the the spiritual man. Bob shares about a strange-sounding teaching, eating flesh and drinking blood, that Jesus spoke. Very strange sounding stuff to the natural man. Bob closes out teaching from John 6 and then continues into John 7, introducing the Jewish feast of tabernacles, Jesus relationship with his physical brothers and sisters, who did not believe in Him. Bob explains what believing in Jesus really means, not an intellectual assent to facts, but really knowing Jesus personally as God in the flesh, whom you can come to know as a person to whom you can communicate with in spiritual understanding. Bob George TeachingBob George, from the original People to People radio for over 30 years, continues teaching from the book of John. He starts out by introducing the thinking of an atheist and agnostic in regards to their lack of understanding of the truth of God. Then he transitions to how the child of God, or believer, knows the truth of God and has the indwelling Spirit of God to reveal truth to him. The believer has the choice to walk by the flesh or by the Spirit. Bob shares some common patterns of walking in the flesh and the absolute necessity of having the Spirit of God at work in you. Without the Holy Spirit, the believer cannot love and his natural tendency in the flesh is to walk in fear or anger.

Bob also explains the relationship between faith, hope and love and the typical flesh pattern of living in fear, sin really. Fear leads to anger or the building of defensive walls as barriers to relationships. The first caller, Ed, wanted clarification on a passage of scripture from Romans 8 to help him understand the concept and workings of the flesh and the Spirit. Bob addresses from the scripture what the flesh and the Spirit are and how a believer is intended to walk with a renewed mind. The second caller, Jack, a relatively new believer, was puzzled why there are so many different interpretations among different churches. It seemed strange for that to be when the Spirit guides the believer into all truth. Beginning with that very verse, Bob answers his question. The third caller, Vivian, called to thank Bob for his teaching of truth that set her free from 40 years of guilt. But her question was about why she has a lack of awareness of the Holy Spirit in her. Bob made a point to identify what religion does to keep people blind to truth and what a real relationship with Jesus does to change lives. Bob said that there is nothing more stupid than religion. Then Bob shares how the Holy Spirit living in you was modeled first by Jesus living as a man to show us how to live, to live totally dependent on God.
