A Star Shines on King Jesus!

When you think of all the things spoken by the prophets, that were fulfilled in Christ, and how sovereign God is, that everything He has said has come to pass, who, in their right mind, would not come to choose Life? The star stood over the place where Jesus lay, just as it was spoken through the prophet. Jesus shall be called Emmanuel, and we see the transfiguration, where a voice from heaven says, “Listen to him. This is My Beloved Son”. God spoke to Joseph and Mary through dreams, and what had been spoken through the prophets was fulfilled, such as Jesus would be called a Nazarene. Numerous miracles were performed through Jesus, as the prophets of old said he would do when he came. John the Baptist was visited in prison, and Jesus told his disciples to report these things to him while he was in prison. The Holy Spirit is Constantly Renewing Your Mind – Teaching You Truth

Simeon prophesied that Jesus will cause the rising and falling of many in Israel, a sign that will be spoken against, so that the hearts of many will be revealed. There is something about mankind, who is born spiritually dead, that he is naturally opposed to truth. Truth sounds as foolishness to him. You can talk about God all day long, and people seem to be okay with that. People talk about all kinds of religions, and people are okay with that too. But once you talk about Jesus or the truth of His word, there is an aversion, a pulling away, or even quite a reaction with false accusations.

In today’s world, hardly anyone wants to hear truth anymore. The bible and prayer have long been kicked out of the public sphere. Situational ethics and evolution have been taught in our schools. Seminaries are teaching things that ought not to be taught. Even bible societies and bible translators are not required to uphold the bible as the inerrant word of God. Synopsis

Revelation 1:3
Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.

Jesus promised a special blessing to those who read the book of Revelation, even aloud, and take to heart what is written. Yet many church leaders, sadly, have encouraged people to avoid Revelation. That should not be so, for Jesus specifically says otherwise. But realize that even the bible records that many things that are written will not be understood until the very end and the wise will understand and will instruct many. But do not fret over what you cannot understand right now. Yet there is a reason to study and learn prophecy, but it is not to cower in fear nor is it to get puffed up with pride with what you think you know and speculate about, and forget your purpose on earth. Do not let the study of prophecy keep you from living today in what God has specifically assigned you to be.
