Why don’t more pastors and teachers teach the truth of 1st John 1:9 today? Because it is not popular.

“There’s a number of teachers that agree with us on 1st John 1:9, but will not teach it because of denominational pressure. You don’t become, you don’t become popular. And this so called world, Christian world, by teaching a Christian bar soap is not a bar soap. And we have grabbed a hold of something there that God never intended us to grab a hold up, but to the people who study the original language with a sincere and open heart, as I had the challenge, ultimately got my Greek understanding of that by going to the the number one teacher of Greek at the Dallas Theological Seminary, and then ultimately going to the teacher in Greece himself. “Now let’s go back again to the book of Matthew, and pick up, the story in Matthew, verse 22, in Matthew 14. “And what Christ said, is to focus on Him, to turn your eyes upon Jesus and to look full in his wonderful face. And the things of the world will grow strangely dim in the light of his wonder and grace to keep your eyes upon Jesus. And what that is meaning is to focus on Christ, he should be the focus of everything that we do, and everything that we say, in this life. And he came into the world to tell people this truth. And there was rebellion against that, because their focus was on something else, their focus, in this particular case, was on their religion, on their traditions, and on the teaching of Moses, and on the person of Moses. And so they would have been saying, Look, we’re followers of Moses, not you. And so he was saying to them, that I’m not going to accuse you before the Father. “In chapter 13, he says, I’m going to show you a more excellent way. Because guys, the opposite of love is not hate. The opposite of love is pride. That’s the opposite. Love is patient. Pride is never patient. Love is kind. Pride is never kind. Is it? Love never keeps records of wrongs. Pride can’t afford not to keep records of wrongs. In case you get a little one upmanship on me, I got my record of you to get back at you. There are some people that you can never criticize that they’re not going to put it right back on you. Have you ever known people like that? That you say, Well, you know, you did. this. Oh, that’s what you do too. Got even with them that time. What’s pride, that’s a prideful thing that I’ve got to shoot back. “Here again, this is putting God in the box of being a responder instead of an initiator. It’s saying, if you do this, God will do that, that puts God in a position of being a responder and I’m being the initiator. And that puts me in a position of being greater than God. Very simple. If I’m the initiator, and God’s the responder, I’m greater than God, I can cause God to do what I want him to do. And so if you think if you do this, God will respond, then I’m greater than God. And so that is that is utter nonsense. The reason you don’t need to get your theology straight in regard to tithing, you need to get your theology straight in regard to New Testament giving. Absent From The Body and Present With the Lord

~ “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:8

“Well, it says in Second Corinthians doesn’t it, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. And that’s talking about death. That’s when you’re absent from the body and present with the Lord. This is talking about end times. And so it says about brothers that don’t want you to be ignorant about the subjects now again, Andrew, we have to realize that punctuation is not there’s no inerrancy and punctuation. The Greek language in which the Bible is written had no periods or commas, do you understand that? There were no capitalization, there was nothing there was just written. So there’s no inerrancy, about punctuation. And so sometimes you have to be careful with where people in their translation put the periods and the commas. But let’s just go on with verse 13.
