What Does Repentance Mean in the Scriptures?

~ We repent of our unbelief in Jesus and believe in Him for salvation. When we change our mind (repent), the Holy Spirit gives us eternal life at that very moment in time.

“Repentance in the Bible, as we’ve kind of mentioned before, is a very strong word. We have watered it down like we do the word Christian and everything else would then have a meaning to it. And so repentance is the same way. It’s a very, very strong word. It is used in the Scriptures only as it relates to salvation, because you’re talking about a total change of identity, you’re not talking about I’m smoking but I’m going to repent and quit smoking, because you could start again. ~ Who are you going to listen to, man or God? We are so quick to latch on to what man has to say about the things of this world, yet we don’t go back to the word of God to verify the things that are being said to see if they are true or not. Are you believing something because of man’s testimony or because the Holy Spirit taught you Truth? This is True in ALL things today.

~ “We accept human testimony, but God’s testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God, which he has given about his Son. Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. ~ Have you followed Jesus to the cross and then to the empty tomb? Are you going to Jesus to receive His eternal life, or are you going to God as a vending machine for things in your life? Which is more important to you, physical temporary life and things in this life, or eternal Life in Him?

“You have people today in the denomination that believe that the way that you have Jesus into your heart is to put a wafer in your mouth. And so you have people that come forward, and the priests puts wafers in your mouth and that wafer is transformed into the body of Jesus. And now Jesus lives in you. If you drink wine, well, then that is transformed into the blood of Jesus and Jesus lives in you. Well, I’ve told people, if that’s true, that isn’t gonna stay there long, and as much as we have a digestive tract. And so we’re how a person or how people can believe this, I do not know. Because I do know what I put in my mouth ain’t gonna stay there. Maybe that’s why you have to keep coming back, to get Jesus over and over again. Sin Brought Death ~ Life Comes Through Faith in Jesus Christ

~ There is much sickness in the world, but the ultimate sickness is death. Death came about through sin. Jesus offers a cure for that, it’s called Life eternal. Receive Jesus, and receive His Life into you. And the warning is, if a person does not receive the Life of Jesus, there is the lake of fire for eternity.

~ “Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—” Romans 5:12

A Warning For All: The god and Prince of This World is Satan

~ Do not give lip service to this in the word of God in regards to who is in charge of this world. We all tend to gloss over the truth of the word of God as it pertains to this. But make no mistake about who is directing all the actions that we currently are witnessing in the world today. Most are blind to this fact and scripture even tells us that! And marvel not that people, through the demons have also become ministers of righteousness.
