The Mystery of the Fullness of the Gospel Revealed

The Apostle Paul reveals the mystery of the fullness of the Gospel to us in the word of God. God made it known to Paul, the fullness of the Gospel message, “Christ in You, the Hope of Glory.” He was given a commission directly by God, to pass this mystery onto the church down through the ages. It was for our sake, that Paul did what he did and the suffering he himself faced.

As a lost person, a person tries in the energy of their flesh to do the right things, and then a person realizes they can not be good enough or loving enough. They come to the end of self sufficiency, and come to know and accept Jesus for their salvation, Yet, so many times, after people come to Christ, they then try to do things in the energy of their own flesh. God lets us have a try at it. And then we also realize we still can not live in the energy of our flesh. Understanding the Fullness of the Gospel

When learning about new things, we tend to learn it better and retain what we have learned when we hear something and see something. Also, when we say it out loud or teach others what we have learned, it reinforces it in our own mind of the truths being taught to us. Jesus even makes mention of this learning experience in the word of God.

For us today, learning the fullness of the Gospel message can be helped along by both hearing the word of God and seeing the word of God and saying the word of God out loud for ourselves too. With so much religion talk in the world today, including that of Christianity, there is a teaching in both Catholic and Protestant churches that you have to keep going back to God to get your sins forgiven. The Catholic goes to the confession booth to a priest and the Protestant goes to their own virtual confession booth and continually asks for forgiveness of sins. These people are making a mockery of the cross. They have never repented in their understanding of what Jesus did on the cross for them. They keep pushing Jesus back up there and asking Jesus for what He has already done. Many many people refuse to believe in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. Join Bob George as he answers these questions and others on the air.

Who is Going to Determine What is Right and Wrong? God or man?

Man is still trying to determine what is right and wrong in their own eyes today. People justify their own actions by saying to God, “I don’t need you God, I can determine right from wrong myself. God, you don’t know what you are talking about. This is just an alternative lifestyle, and is not sin.” Yet the word of God tells us that no one is righteous. No one does good. They do what is right in their own eyes.

Romans 3:10-12
¹⁰As it is written:
“There is no one righteous, not even one;
¹¹ there is no one who understands;
there is no one who seeks God.
¹² All have turned away,
they have together become worthless;
there is no one who does good,
not even one.”

The Counsellor of God has been sent to us. The Holy Spirit is our Counsellor. When we repent of our sin of unbelief and accept Jesus, the Holy Spirit comes to give us life. He gives us eternal life. What is the Meaning of the Resurrection?

Many times a person will tell you that the meaning of Jesus’ death on the cross was for forgiveness, but when you ask a person the meaning of the resurrection of Jesus, they are likely to give you a blank look on their face. They may say that was what verified that He died on the cross for our sins, yet they don’t have a clue what His resurrection life is all about.

Salvation is life. And, if indeed Christ is not raised from the dead, then our faith is worthless. The resurrection is key for LIFE. The death of Jesus did not provide life. Jesus death provided forgiveness but the resurrected life brings life to you and me through faith in Him.

1 Corinthians 15:17
¹⁷ and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins.

Hebrews 10:17
¹⁷ Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.”

Romans 5:10
¹⁰ For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!
