A Higher Standard – Part 3 – 10-15-25

~ Love is patient, love is kind, love is not envious, it is not boastful, it is not puffed up. 1 Corinthians 13:4

Folks, if we are truly being honest, we ALL fail the love test, just with that one verse alone. For only God is Love. and that is the Truth that is being shown to us in 1 Corithians chapter 13. And let’s read it with this is the way God loves us ALWAYS.

1 Corithians 13:

1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become a sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I should have prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I should have all faith so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And if I may give away all my possessions, and I may deliver up my body that I may boast,a but have not love, I am profited nothing.

The Only Thing That Counts is Faith Expressing Itself Through Love

~ “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any power, but only faith working through love.” Galatians 5:6

~ How you doing in the Love department today? We are talking about the Love of God. Are you ALWAYS Loving others as God? Be truthful with your answer. Because the hypocrites will want to ignore this question or tell you right to your face that they are ALWAYS Loving others, which obviously is a lie.

Today, you need to tell it like it is. You need to stand firm in TRUTH. Only Christ Jesus can Love with His love living through us. And that is only when we abide in Him. We can still respond in the flesh. And that is NOT Love. We can get angry at the drop of a hat. And that is NOT Love. We can harbor envy in our heart. And that is NOT Love. We can wish that someday they will get their just reward. And that is NOT Love. If you really want to see how you do in the Love compartment, just read 1st Corinthians 13 to see how you do:

Be Born Free in Christ Jesus

~ “Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.” John 16:13

Once a person has the Spirit of God living in them, nothing can separate them from the Spirit of God. They are permanently written in the Book of Life. And to become born again simply requires placing Faith in Jesus, the Faithful One of God to have taken away the sins of the world and when a person exercises Faith, the Spirit of God comes to indwell them at that very moment and give them His eternal life. And there is nothing a person can do to cause the Spirit of God to depart from them. NOTHING can separate them from the Love of God.

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38,39

~ We Belong to Each Other, So Serve One Another In Love

~ We who are in Christ Jesus belong to one another. Each of us is part of the body of Christ Jesus and we are to serve one another in Love. So put off that which hinders us. Put off that which causes our brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus to stumble. Build up one another. Encourage one another. Be kind and compassionate to one another. Forgive one another as Christ Jesus forgave you. For this is the will of God for each of us. And remember, during these difficult times, people are struggling with many things they do not even understand why it is happening or what is happening all around them. And they are caught in the snares of satan’s deception big time. Because we were all brainwashed from birth to believe in the lies of the world. And this is why we ALL are having such a difficult time these days with everything. For we are being bombarded with the lies of the world. Live in Dependency on Jesus Always

~ For the gospel reveals the righteousness of God that comes by faith from start to finish, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” Romans 1:17

~ Trust in Jesus moment by moment, for Faith is from beginning to end. We can’t change anything of the past, and we do not know exactly what is going to happen in the future, and that means in the very next moment of our day, and so we are to live in the present. And living in the present, we are to allow the Holy Spirit to direct our paths every moment of the day. So walk by faith in His perfect love for us, who lives in us if we are in Christ Jesus. Learn to listen to Him, and depend on Him for ALL things. And He will make your path straight. “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:6

~ Serve One another in Love

~ Jesus served us in God’s love for us, and died for us, even death on a cross. He went out of His way, to protect us and to take away the sins of the world, which causes death. “God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians 5:21 And He rose again to give us His Life, living in us, when the Holy Spirit baptized us into the body of Christ, when we by faith accepted Him as God in the flesh, who took away all our sins at the cross. That is our profession of faith, and that occurred on our day of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit came to indwell the believer for ALL time. And sin can never cause death for the believer ever again.
