Jesus is Our Sabbath Rest for Today

Come Let Us Reason Together, The Sabbath Rest is For Today!

~ There are people that don’t believe the Sabbath rest is for them, and believe that only certain parts of the bible are written for the church. They think there are two different messages today. One message was for Hebrews, and another message was for Gentiles, as though there are two different means of salvation. Folks, it’s important to understand that there is only one means of salvation for both the Hebrews and the Gentiles, through faith in Jesus and Him alone. The Holy Spirit is telling us to enter a Sabbath rest for today. That is for today folks, not tomorrow, not for one group of people, vs another group of people, but for all the children of God. If a person thinks there are two different messages to two different groups of people, they will in effect throw away half the word of God, because they will say to themselves, “I’m not a Hebrew, therefore this must not apply to me.” And furthermore, they will not listen to the Holy Spirit today telling them to rest from their works. Are You Busy and Barren Today or Resting in Jesus?

~ Many people are out there grunting and groaning in the energy of their flesh for Jesus Christ. They are not abiding in the Holy Spirit, but are listening to their flesh tell them to be a do do Christian. And they are listening to man saying to do this instead of listening to the Holy Spirit, if indeed the Holy Spirit lives in them. We are told to make sure that we enter His rest, whereby we rest from our works as Jesus rested from his too. Jesus showed us how man was to live, by abiding in the vine. We can do nothing on our own. Only when we allow God, the Holy Spirit to live His life in and through us can we then experience the Sabbath rest of God. Jesus did nothing and said nothing other than what the Father had him do and had him say. So when we learn to abide in the vine, God will use us the same way. Stand Firm in The Faith of Jesus From First to Last

~ Flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 15:50 Do we really believe that? Most give lip service to those very words of God that tell us that. For most are all too willing to listen to agents of Satan tell lies of cleaning up your flesh. Oh, and when you start cleaning up your flesh, you will feel so good about yourself. Because Satan wants you to focus on self, after all, that is what Satan himself does. And Satan knows how man responds. He has had thousands of years to observe man, and we are all too willing to listen to him, instead of listening to the Holy Spirit teach us truth. For we are out there trying to pull up the weeds when we should be learning on how to grow grass. And folks, we can’t even grow the grass ourselves. We can’t but He can. When we learn to abide in him, then we will see the work he began in us and he will bring it to completion. Listen to The Spirit of Truth

Classic Christianity – Book of Hebrews P39 (11-28-23)

If You Hear The Holy Spirit Do Not Harden Your Heart

~ Today. This is for today folks. God is telling us not to harden our hearts to the teaching of the Holy Spirit of Truth. Yet so many people have indeed hardened their hearts to Truth. They are in direct rebellion with God. It’s no different than the Hebrews wandering in the wilderness, because they did not believe God. And the writer of the book of Hebrews warns us of this and gives it as a prime example of what NOT to do. And thus people will not enter His rest because they will not rest from their own works of self righteousness. We see it all over the place. Satan and religion teaches the lies of ongoing forgiveness. Or Satan and his false ministers will teach the lie that only the sins of the elect were forgiven at the cross. And most people will not even verify (by testing the spirits) what a person teaches in this very foundation of the cross, and simply believe whatever else man has to say about God. Worlds Sin is Unbelief in Jesus

The World’s Sin is Unbelief in Jesus

~~ If you are in Christ Jesus, then He, the Spirit of God is IN you! The Holy Spirit lives in every true born again believer in God. They are a child of the Living God. They are alive because the Holy Spirit gives life to the dead. The Holy Spirit is our true Counselor. People go to everyone else today for counseling, but most do not go directly to God for True counseling. Yet the very Spirit of Truth lives in the believer and He gives us knowledge and wisdom and Truth directly from God.

We need to pay attention to the details. Jesus tells us the world’s sin is unbelief in Him. So many people focus on this sin or that sin, all the while ignoring the Major SIN of Unbelief in Jesus. Agents of the devil will even point out all the other sins of the world (and lie to you about getting those sins cleaned up) but not unbelief in Jesus. The Holy Spirit on the other hand is telling us the key is unbelief in Jesus. Jesus Gives His Life To Us

Quit Being a Weed Puller and Start Growing Grass

~ Most everyone today is concerned with weeds in their lawn instead of learning how to grow grass. We need to realize that according to Jesus, “The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life.” This is why in another passage of Scripture it says that “flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God.” Yet most are out there trying to get their flesh all cleaned up. They are pulling out weeds left and right and still more weeds pop up because quite frankly you can’t pull them out by the root. There is nothing good in the flesh. That flesh of ours is going to the grave whether we like it or not. Only the person that abides in Christ Jesus can live as God would have us to live, by faith, from beginning to end. “For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” You can’t live the perfect life, only Jesus can and did live the perfect life.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
