Jesus Did NOT Atone For Sins, He Took Sins Away

~ Jesus did not cover sin. Jesus did not atone for sin. Jesus took away the sins of the whole world. These are key points to understand today. Yet most people gloss over them. They constantly use the wrong words and the meanings of these words to describe what Jesus did on the cross. The blood of bulls and goats covered sins (old covenant atonement). Jesus took them away. This is completely different and should not be dismissed. If you are listening to pastors and teachers talk about the “atoning sacrifice of Jesus,” you are listening to a person who either does not understand, or worse yet, is purposely meant to deceive you into thinking Jesus covered sin. ~ Pride is a factor that can easily be exploited in any one of us. Pride lives in our flesh. Pride says, “I want to be number one.” It’s the same thing that is coveting. In fact, it’s the one sin that is hardly ever mentioned by any pastors and teachers today. And the reason is, because we all covet. And those who are in Christ Jesus can see it rear its ugly head in themselves and it is quite obvious in others. The self righteous people proudly say, “I’ve repented of all my sins.” No they haven’t. They haven’t repented of the sin of lying or coveting. No one has ever repented of all of their sins. And those that think they have, are proud of their acting like they have. For it puffs them up. “Look how good I am God. ~ Satan was one of the brightest stars. He was the morning star. He was the most beautiful of the angels in all of creation. And yet he himself became proud of everything he was and coveted to be like God. We see the same type of things going on with people today. So many times, we have seen people that think they know it all. They have been to all the top schools. They have a PhD in this subject or that subject. They slap DOCTOR on their door, Dr. so and so. They introduce themselves as Doctor wherever they go and to whoever they are speaking to. They are proud of all their schooling, for they think they have much wisdom in all that knowledge they have gathered to themselves from the world. Sin Brought Death ~ Life Comes Through Faith in Jesus Christ

~ There is much sickness in the world, but the ultimate sickness is death. Death came about through sin. Jesus offers a cure for that, it’s called Life eternal. Receive Jesus, and receive His Life into you. And the warning is, if a person does not receive the Life of Jesus, there is the lake of fire for eternity.
