Bob George answers calls from various listeners, proving clarification of scriptures with practical insight from God’s word. The callers today asked Bob to clarify the understanding of certain passages of scriptures. One person asked if a person could ever be blotted out of the book of life in reference to a passage of scripture in Revelation 3. Another person was bothered about what she perceived as a war between good and evil that if people go to hell then would that not indicate God lost the war? Bob addressed the person by redirecting her away from thinking in terms of winning and losing. God is not in a competition with Satan. Instead he encouraged her to ponder over the fact of how God chose to create man with a free will. Because of that choice of design, man can choose to come to Christ by faith or reject him. Many indeed will reject him but that is by a choice. For the heart and desire of God is that none should perish but all come to faith in him for eternal to be with God forever. He explains spiritual truth, applying such truth so men can walk in freedom in Christ for which Christ has set them free. Sometimes callers simply thank Bob for helping them understand truth and are deeply grateful. Other callers are bogged down in error from things they have heard or been taught in religion. Beth calls to ask Bob if it is a sin to not go to church. Bob tells her it is not a sin and explains what the church really is and explains the role of pastors and elders and the role of Jesus Christ as the head of the true church, which is His body. Lisa asked if under a New Covenant if man can have more than one wife. Bob answered from scripture that the answer is clearly no. And even under the Old Covenant and even from the beginning of creation, in Genesis God’s design has always been one man and one woman in what is rightly called marriage. Bob George RadioWelcome to Classic Christianity radio, where for over 30 years Bob George has answered common questions by various callers with clear instruction and application from understanding the meaning of God’s word. The first caller, Eli, asked Bob advise on what translation are good translations and for any recommendations. The second caller, Steve, simply brought up a strange teaching he heard and wanted to bring it to Bob’s attention for further clarity although he clearly knew how false it was. The third caller, John, asked a question in regards to a specific passage of scripture and if those people referenced were saved. David asked a question in regards to what was lacking in Apollos in the book of Acts that he needed Priscilla and Aquila to explain truth more accurately. Eddie asked what it means to be led by the Holy Spirit in reference to teaching he heard from Pentecostal churches. The last caller asked Bob in regards to why there are lots of differences in teaching out there, such as what he has heard from Hank Haanagraf and Bob George.
