We strongly encourage anyone to go back and study the Closer Look at the Finality of the Cross on your own. Order your Closer Look bible studies today. That will help in your understanding of the reality of the resurrection.

Scripture tells us that some went from us because they were never a part of us. They never had the Holy Spirit alive living in them.

1 John 2:19
19 They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.

We get it in our heads many times and put people on a pedestal. Yet even the Apostle Paul points out that we should not be focused … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Be Set Free to Grow in Grace, With Christ Alive Living in You, Teaching You Truth

Many people have this concept of separation of church and state, where what you do on Sunday at church, or what you believe about in the religious or spiritual realm, has no bearing on the physical realm. It is like what scripture says, that they have a form of godliness but deny its power thereof (2 Timothy 3). But church is people who have the Spirit of the God living in them (Romans 8:9-11). Church is not where you go on Saturday or Sunday, a building on the corner of walk and don’t walk. The Spirit lives in a believer so he can make proper judgments about all things (1 Corinthians 2:14-16), and filters what comes to his mind based on what truth is by means of a dynamic relationship with the living God. He can take captive every thought and make it obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). A lost person can only relate in the physical realm through his human spirit that is dead to God. His human spirit is alive to this … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Salvation: Totality of the Cross, Being Made Complete in Christ and Growing in Grace

As people are growing in grace, they have questions. Oftentimes, they read passages of scriptures like Hebrews 6:4-6, that they just do not understand it yet. So they call up on a program such as this, or if they are around like-minded believers, where they are free to ask questions in order to grow in grace, they get guidance from mature believers, who rightly divide the word of truth. Many times people have not grabbed a hold of truth because there is something missing in their understanding. Of course, if you just got saved yesterday, you are still on the milk of the word, and that is where you are at. You have not had much time in the word of God yet. So it is helpful to have pastor-teachers that teach truth, help out in our understanding.

Many times people grow up in the church world and they may have memorized all kinds of scriptures, but it as if the scriptures are all put in a basket, and as they pull out scriptures, they do … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The New Covenant P8 (06-09-21)

Synopsis

What are those better promises under a New Covenant? First of all, it does not depend on us to keep it. Under an Old Covenant, if you failed but once, you are guilty of breaking all of the law, and are under a curse. For scripture tells us that cursed is everyone who does not continue to do all that is written in the book of the law. Under a New Covenant, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Second, God has given you everything you need for life and godliness. He will never leave you nor forsake you. He lives in you to instruct you and guide you into all truth. He loves and accepts you unconditionally. Then on that special day, when you shall leave this earth, you will see Him face to face. You will be changed in a twinkling of an eye, for you shall see Him as He really is.

Jesus is the guarantee of a promised eternal inheritance stored up in heaven for you, where moth and rust do not destroy. How can He guarantee this, this … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

The Law of Love

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Word of God P40 (05-10-21)

Synopsis

The one thing people are looking for is unconditional love and acceptance. We cannot give that to someone else, not in the energy of our flesh. So much marital strife is because one spouse has unrealistic expectations on another, expecting their partner to provide what he or she is unable to provide. Yet, the Lord Jesus Christ commands us to love one another just as He loved us. So what is Jesus saying to us? Is He telling us to do something that is impossible for us to do? Yes and no, because it is not us doing it.

The key to the Christian life is a life of dependency, of trust in the one who loves you perfectly, and only God can do that, for God is love. Jesus, as the second Adam, modeled perfectly for us how we are to live. He limited Himself in the use of His divine attributes in a manner that we would have to relate to God, after having the Spirit placed in us at a new spiritual birth. Was it not from His complete dependency upon His Father? … Listen to Broadcast & Read More
