~ Jesus is the Rock of our salvation. Jesus is our everything. Jesus tells us to obey the word of God, believe on Him, Jesus, God in flesh, and build our salvation on him and him alone. So many people are out there building their foundation on their flesh. They think God is pleased with them when they do something in the flesh that appears to be good. But here is the thing, the motive for doing things in the flesh is actually Not good. It is evil to God. That right there is difficult for some people to accept. Why? Because they are out there performing in their flesh and they feel proud of what they are doing. They think to themselves that they are better than others. They even compare themselves to others. Jesus, God is Going to Say to Lots of People, “Away From Me, You Evildoers!”

~ All these people that are going around, making it look like they are working for Jesus, God is going to tell them plainly, “I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!” For there are many many people today that look all good from the outside, but God is looking at the heart. They are proud of what they are doing for God. They think that is what God is pleased with. They don’t have a clue what faith is, nor do they even understand what abiding in the Spirit is all about. And the reason they don’t understand it, is because they are not saved. They do not have the Holy Spirit living in them.

Now people get all defensive about the spiritual person judging all things, as if they think Matthew 7:1,2 is talking about God judging us if we judge others. So we are to avoid those who teach things contrary to sound doctrine of our Lord Jesus Christ. Instead, we are to rely on the Holy Spirit, who lives in us, to reveal truth to our innermost being, so we can walk in the newness of life. For it is for freedom that Christ set us free. You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.

Does your heart yearn to know the truth? Consider the parables of the lost coin, the lost sheep, and the prodigal son. What do these stories tell us about the heart of God, His love and acceptance of us, His compassion and understanding of us in our weak and dead condition. The older you get, you will experience the death of someone you love, of a mother or father or a close friend. Or you may be experiencing a very difficult situation where a close friend is sick, or is in a critical accident, and is unconscious. You call on others to pray with you. Now, do we pray in accordance with God’s will or do we expect God to answer whatever we pray? Do we falsely think that since God lives in me, and He healed people, that, therefore, we can ask anything in His name and He will do it?
