~ If a person is not being asked the question about the 1 John 1:9 passage of scripture, you can bet they are not preaching the gospel of Christ Jesus. And the reason people do indeed ask about that verse of scripture is because the overwhelming majority camp on a wrong interpretation of the word of God in regards to 1 John 1:9. The Greek word for Confess means to agree with God concerning your sins. What is it to agree with God? That God was in Christ Jesus reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting your sins against you or me, or anyone in the world. We rest in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. We are not to keep placing him back up there and calling God a liar, saying to him, “I don’t believe you died for all of my sins, and certainly you must not have really died for the sins of the whole world.” That is the mentality of people today. ~ If you are in Christ, and He is in you, He has set you free from the law of sin and death. The law was a shadow of things to come, not the realities themselves. The book of Hebrews is key to our understanding what the new covenant is all about. Once you realize the truth, that God is no longer counting your sins against you, the book of Hebrews is a message of freedom, that makes you want to jump for joy! God didn’t want us to be under the law, because He knew no one can do everything that the law required. So God took care of that for us. He fulfilled the law for us, so that in Him we could become the righteousness of God. Yet people have started there own laws. They act like God is happy with them when they don’t do something (as in sinning), yet God looks and knows our hearts. He knows what we are thinking. Abide in the Holy Spirit When He Lives in You

~ People want to be God today. They think they can keep themselves clean. They think they can produce good works. They think they can produce the fruit of the Spirit by the energy of their flesh. They still don’t have a clue of how Jesus really lived as the perfect Man of God. It’s important for us to understand that Jesus, being God in flesh, is also the Perfect Man of God too. And Jesus said he does NOTHING other than what the Father tells him to do. He also said, he says Nothing other than what the Father tells him to say. Yet today, people think they can be God themselves. There is nothing new under the sun. People think they can be righteous by keeping short accounts with God. People think they can be holy by doing or not doing something. They live under a misunderstanding of scripture today. They are still slaves to sin (unbelief). And it takes the Holy Spirit living in a person to show them ALL truth.

Quit Sinning Against The Knowledge of TRUTH

~ When you come across people that are so deceived into thinking they continually get their sins forgiven today, you know they don’t have a clue of what the Truth of the cross really is. And quite frankly, most of these, the overwhelming majority of the so called Christian world is dead in their unbelief. They are lost, they are NOT saved. They do not have the Holy Spirit living in them for life. And no it is not wrong to say that. It’s just that Satan and the fallen angels don’t want you to share the truth of the word of God. They want the people that are dead, thinking they are saved when they are NOT saved. They want the lies to be continually taught. And they want you to be quiet and not speak TRUTH. And if you do teach the truth of the word of God, you yourself will face persecution. And consider that an honor. If You Are in Christ Jesus Count Yourself Dead to Sin

~ If you are not being asked the question, or people are not accusing you of giving people a license to sin, you can bet you are NOT teaching the truth of the word of God. Because when the Truth of the Gospel is taught, this question always comes up. What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? And the answer is by no means! A person asking the question in the first place doesn’t understand what salvation is. Salvation is not getting your sins forgiven, it is receiving the Holy Spirit in you when you agree with God. Don’t let people put you on a guilt trip. They are the ones that are walking around in unbelief. They are the ones who are actually doing the license to sin. After all, with them, it’s sin and confess to get forgiveness. Then when they sin again, they confess again for forgiveness. On and on it goes. That is being a slave to sin.
