Classic Christianity – Book of Romans P47 (02-25-20)
As we delve into Romans 12, let us review also what the apostle Paul is sharing concerning this gift of new life in Christ Jesus. He went to great lengths to explain how both the Jews and the Gentiles are both alike under sin and death. He explained how sin caused our death, that we were born dead in sin, having inherited that sin nature from Adam. God, seeing the fallen state of mankind, sent His only Son into the world so the world might be saved through him. See, we were condemned already, for not believing in God’s only Son.
Think about that. Anything that does not come from faith is sin. Faith is the basis of trust, of trusting someone completely. So what happened in the garden of Eden? Adam chose not to believe God, when He said if you eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, if you decide for yourself what is right and what is wrong, what is good and what is evil, then you shall surely die. Adam did what God warned him not to do and he died.

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P485 (10-24-19)
Bob George receives calls from several callers. Monte was specifically asked to come on the program to share his testimony of God’s grace. He had a hard time accepting the grace of God because of his horrible life he lived. He had been caught up in drugs, and in and out of jail, since he was young. He was literally pushing a shopping cart around here in Vancouver at three in the morning trying to get his next fix. Yet when he came to understand the grace of God, and became born again, his life was dramatically changed.
Bob explained how hard it is for people to understand grace. He explained that Romans 7 is the passage of scripture that to him explains grace. For in Romans we read how Paul testified that he was in sins grasp, for what he knew what was right to do he could not do and the wrong he did not want to do, he did anyway. He realized what a wretched man he was and, therefore, was ready for the grace of God for there was no where else to go and no … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

That understanding of truth changed his life.
What is particularly special and brings great joy is when the truth of the gospel is shared to someone so that he becomes a child of God. James called to ask a question about what makes a man think he is a homosexual. Many times people ask such questions because they are bothered about sin in their own life and want to be set free. James was set free by … Listen to Broadcast & Read More
Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P447 (6-07-19)
Bob George receives calls from several listeners. Ted called to thank Bob for the bible study material sent while he was deployed in Iraq. Sandra called for advice for her struggle with bitterness. Bob encouraged her to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. John called for clarification on the meaning of the Lord’s prayer in Matthew 6 in regards to forgiveness from God when you do not forgive a brother who offended you. Bob explained that Jesus was teaching in accordance with the Old Covenant that the Jews were still currently under. Christ taught under the Old Covenant and buried us under that covenant while speaking about the New Covenant to come. Today, under the New Covenant, we are now instructed to forgive one another as Christ Jesus forgave you. When Jesus died on the cross, he took away the entire sins of the world, never to be remembered any more. So if God forgave all our sins, then that is the motivation for forgiving someone who sinned against you. Mike asked about those who have given themselves over to Satan in order to be rock stars.
