~ Don’t listen to anyone that says, “the atoning death of Jesus,” because that is a lie. Jesus did NOT atone for sins. Jesus took away all sins at the cross. The two are completely different meanings to the words in the Greek. And Satan loves to muddy the waters, and uses his transformed agents of self righteousness to spread his lies of deceit to all that follow them. This is key for today. For if you listen to people that teach these lies, you will be listening to a perverted person. For their minds are perverted with Satan’s lies, instead of the Truth of the Word of God. Proof is at your fingertips today. To be a Berean is simple. Study God’s Word for yourself. And furthermore, if you have the Holy Spirit living in you, He will show you All Truth. In Christ Jesus, You Have Eternal Life!

~ There are those that teach, that at some point in the future, you “get” eternal life. This is one of the reasons that many people believe they can lose eternal life, is because they don’t believe they have eternal life yet. They gloss over the scriptures, believing in the teaching of man instead of the word of God. They think salvation is getting their sins forgiven, and having them constantly forgiven their whole lives, thus if they do some sin (they can never tell you what that sin is), just that it will cause a person to lose eternal life. So because eternal life is some sort of future event, they see it as something they might not get if they upset God so to speak. It’s important that we understand the schemes of the devil. He has inverted the meaning of the words of God. He has taken things, that should be obvious to those who are truly in Christ and made them be something entirely different in meaning.

What About 1 John 1:9

And People Ask, “Well, What About 1 John 1:9?”

~ If a person is not being asked the question about the 1 John 1:9 passage of scripture, you can bet they are not preaching the gospel of Christ Jesus. And the reason people do indeed ask about that verse of scripture is because the overwhelming majority camp on a wrong interpretation of the word of God in regards to 1 John 1:9. The Greek word for Confess means to agree with God concerning your sins. What is it to agree with God? That God was in Christ Jesus reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting your sins against you or me, or anyone in the world. We rest in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. We are not to keep placing him back up there and calling God a liar, saying to him, “I don’t believe you died for all of my sins, and certainly you must not have really died for the sins of the whole world.” That is the mentality of people today. Sacrifices Were An Annual Reminder of Sins ~ Jesus Set us Free From All of That!

~ If you are in Christ, and He is in you, He has set you free from the law of sin and death. The law was a shadow of things to come, not the realities themselves. The book of Hebrews is key to our understanding what the new covenant is all about. Once you realize the truth, that God is no longer counting your sins against you, the book of Hebrews is a message of freedom, that makes you want to jump for joy! God didn’t want us to be under the law, because He knew no one can do everything that the law required. So God took care of that for us. He fulfilled the law for us, so that in Him we could become the righteousness of God. Yet people have started there own laws. They act like God is happy with them when they don’t do something (as in sinning), yet God looks and knows our hearts. He knows what we are thinking. Jesus is The Mediator of the New Covenant

No One Can Live Under Both The Old and New Covenants

~ The old covenant doesn’t even exist today. No one can or could keep the old covenant of God. The law of God was fulfilled by Jesus, and he ushered in a new covenant upon his death on the cross. So it’s super important that we actually understand what the new covenant is. God is NOT counting your sins against you. God is NOT counting anyone’s sins against them. That is what enables a person to recognize the love of God, for God so loved the world that he sent His Son, that whoso ever believes in Him should not perish and shall have eternal life. When a person accepts Jesus and what he did on the cross for them, the Holy Spirit comes to live in them immediately giving a person eternal life. And by the way, it is NOT some future event, it is this very moment that a person places faith in the Son. When you have the Son, you have Life.

~ Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” Hebrews 10:17

Faith Says Thank You For Forgiveness

Forgiveness is Final

~ Your sins have been forgiven. Most of you that are reading and listening to this message know the Truth of that. However, over 99% of the world doesn’t believe in total forgiveness by God. They believe in ongoing forgiveness. They believe that if they ask for forgiveness from God he will extend forgiveness to them. Forgiveness is not something you get from God. It’s something he did for the sins of the whole world. Your forgiveness is not dependent on whether you ask God or not. Forgiveness has nothing to do with you. It has everything to do with what Jesus did at the cross. For without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. So what are we to do with people today. Tell them the Truth. Tell them their sins have been forgiven because God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, NOT counting man’s sins against him. That truly is the good news of the gospel. Be bold in your proclamation of the Truth of the word of God. For that is the starting point of everything that is important today.
