Those Who Think They Can Lose Eternal Salvation Don’t Know What Salvation Is

~ Salvation is eternal life in Christ Jesus. It is NOT getting your sins forgiven. There are so many in the world today that think they can lose eternal life when they sin, because they don’t understand what Jesus did on the cross for the sins of the whole world. We hear this time and again. People are out there thinking they get more forgiveness from God or get more righteousness from God when they use their false understanding of 1 John 1:9 as a means of keeping themselves clean before God. They keep on keeping on asking for what God has already done. They make a mockery of the cross and treat it as an unholy thing.

Satan has done a number on the world too, making people think they are saved, when they are still dead lost in their unbelief. They have NOT exercised faith in the finished work on the cross. ~ God reconciled you to Himself. He is NOT counting your sins against you today. Do you believe it? Have you truly placed faith in Him to have done what He said is finished? Or are you out there trying to reconcile yourself to God? When the word of God says, “be reconciled” that means believe it, place faith in it. Yet most people will not do that. They will go out there in the energy of their flesh and try to do better, to be better, or to be more righteous with God. Today, people are holding on to their traditions instead of trusting in the word of God. People have grown up Catholic, or Protestant, Baptist, Presbyterian, Methodist and on and on it goes, and they are trusting in their traditions taught by men. And here is the thing, most traditions are lies, continually sold by Satan in order to convince people that they are saved through their traditions, or coming down an aisle to “get their sins forgiven.” They refuse to hear truth today, spoken to them by the Holy Spirit. Jesus Forgave You Before You Were Even Born! Do You Believe That?

~ We are told in Scripture that Jesus reconciled us to himself and is no longer counting our sins against us. Most people do not believe that. Even so called “Christians” don’t believe that either. Those that fight this and do not hear the Holy Spirit talking to them, maybe the reason is because they are not really a child of God and are not truly born again of the Spirit of God in the first place. We are also told in the Scriptures that without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Yet people discount that verse of Scripture too, and say “yeah but.” It never ends with these people.
