The Cross is the Dividing Line of Human History

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Finality of The Cross P34 (10-25-21)

Have You Understood the Finality of the Cross: Are You a Follower Of Christ but Not Born Again? Are You a Professor or a Possessor of Christ?

I once heard someone born in England once say that anyone born in America is a Christian. Some people think that if you go to church then you are a Christian? What do people really mean when they ask if you are a Christian? Are they really just asking to see if you are a good person, towing the line of expectations of men? That you go to a denomination that they approve as the one true church? I have heard Mormons say they are Christians too? I have heard Catholics say they are Christians too? Regardless of the denomination, sitting in a church does not make you a Christian any more than sitting in a hen house makes you a chicken. And who is Jesus to you? Is he merely a political leader? Is he just a prophet like other prophets? Was he just a good and noble man who was martyred for a just cause? Is he … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Jesus Loves The World

Come to Christ for Life; The Fullness of the Gospel; The Totality of the Cross and Being Made Complete in Christ

Man is incurably religious. Why is that? Why is it that when you go to the most indigenous people of the world in the remotest jungle, you will find people going through some kind of motion in an attempt to get in contact with the spiritual world. People will acknowledge that there is something out there they cannot see. And unless you are fool, then you must acknowledge there is a God, for all of creation testifies of that.

Hebrews 11:6
6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Psalm 19:1
1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

In the heart of every man is a God-shaped vacuum that is in the heart of man that can only be filled by His Son Jesus Christ. Have you pondered why that is so? Adam was … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Jesus is The Light and Life of the World

Know the Truth and the Truth Shall Set You Free

Much of the so-called Christian community have been taught that you can be in and out of fellowship with God, either meaning that you can lose your salvation or you can lose fellowship with God when you sin, and when you lose fellowship, you have to confess those sins in order to get back in fellowship. Has anyone tested to see if what is being said is true, according to the bible, as the apostle Paul commended the people of Berea for doing (Acts 17:11)? And if they did, do they know how to properly interpret the scriptures? Do they even have a sufficient background to do so? Many people do not know what the New Covenant of grace is that we live under today.

There are many people who do not know the complete gospel message, the totality of the cross and of being made complete in Christ. Without the framework, understanding a passage like 1 John 1:9 in isolation is like trying to understand a gear shaft without knowing it is part of a … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

We Were Reconciled to God

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Finality of The Cross P25 (10-04-21)

Learn to Walk in Freedom in That Sabbath Rest in the New Covenant of Grace

When a person does not know the full gospel, has been taught erroneous teaching of in and out of fellowship, that you can lose salvation or lose fellowship, and does not understand the New Covenant He is under today, he is unable to rest in the fact that God has not only done it all, has taken away your sins from the eyes of God never to see them again, but is always alive, living in you, forever interceding for you.

As you ponder over these scriptures, Romans 5:10, Hebrews 9:22-28, Hebrews 10:9-18, Hebrews 4:1-11, Hebrews 7:23-25, and Hebrews 3:18-19, what conclusions can be drawn?

Romans 5:10
10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

When you think about Romans 5:10, ask yourself, “When were you reconciled?”, “When did Jesus die?”, “Did His death save you or were you saved by His life?” So, Jesus died for … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

The Gift of God is Eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P670 (09-16-21)

What is Salvation? Death to Life

So many people call in and ask questions about salvation. They are often confused by what they hear in their particular denomination or various preachers on television. Again, it is so important to rely on the Holy Spirit to reveal truth to you through the scriptures He has given to us through the prophets and apostles, who were eyewitnesses, when Jesus was alive walking on this earth. Ultimately, that is where truth has to come, from the Spirit of God in Jesus, who Himself is God in the flesh.

So often we hear from people that you can lose your salvation or that you have to do something to keep yourself right with God, or you have to be obedient to the law so as to keep in God’s grace or to do some religious practice to get more grace. All of that is simply not true. If anyone says you can lose your salvation then they do not know what salvation is. If anyone says that salvation depends on what you do then he does not understand salvation. If you are in Christ, you … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Jesus is The Mediator of the New Covenant

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The New Covenant P30 (08-02-21)

Be Sure to Enter God’s Rest Today!

As we ponder over Hebrews 3 and Hebrews 4, what is this “Sabbath rest that still remains“? What does it mean to “enter God’s rest” and “rest from their works just as God rested from His”? As we read these passages in Hebrews, it is referring back to a time in the history of the Israelites, in Numbers 13-14, where God instructed them to enter the promised land, a land flowing with milk and honey. God had promised this land to them. Everything is prepared and ready. They do not have to do any work to enjoy the fruit of the land. God also said He would destroy the enemies before them.

As we read the story, you may recall that only Joshua and Caleb later entered the promised land because they believed God. Everyone else wandered in a wilderness for forty years until all of that generation died off, for God had sworn that they shall never enter His rest because of their unbelief. Recall their many sins were already atoned for by the temporary sacrificial system in existence at … Listen to Broadcast & Read More
